Due to the nature of curly hair the only way you could remove shrinkage completely would be by straightening your hair. So if there were such thing as a curl lengthener then I guess it would be a mini weak hair relaxer
I’ve always kept my hair short with waves but I’m tired of short hair but then when I grow my hair out it’s annoying to keep up with it cuz my hair shrinks knots and all that😭😭

@MeltingQuickly Just keep growing and use the curl stretcher. If not you can gently pull on a strand to monitor growth. It may appear the same but it's growing :)

After I put my curling and gel in and sleep. In the morning it get so flat and when I try fixing it with water it gets so frizzy. What should I do if my hair gets flat
Don’t use water, use ur hands and just keep on playing around with it, pulling at the roots and you can also try shaking your head to loosen up the roots. If it’s still flat, use a pick - BUT do not put the pick through your curls, just pick up your roots and stop after about a few inches.
Use a spray curl refresher or spray leave in conditioner. Water alome will make it frizz. Spray your whole head with a leavein/curl refresher and let it sit for a min or 2. I then shake my head side to side, front n back to flip the curls around too, lossen them up. Then, you can start using your hands to manipulate it/ fix the curls into place, if necessary.
What they said about using a pick is good too. Also, idk how u wrap ur hair to sleep but trying to do that differently might help too.

o King Ja o try using essential oils I have 4c hair and it works for me. I use 3 essential oils + extra virgin olive oil, put some drops in a spray bottle mixed with water and use that everyday when I wake up and go to sleep.
Also try shampooing MINIMAL as possible. Im about to replace it completely and just use co wash. I got 4c it might work for you too

just be patient bro, shampoo once a week, moisturise ur hair, condition ur hair, deep condition it, drink water, sleep with a silk bonnet, durag or a silk pillowcase, put oil in ur hair, do hair massage sometime and you’ll see the results

Wear a silk bonnet when you go to sleep
If you can, twist/braid up your hair each night before bed. Then, cover it with a silk bonnet. :)
