Rematching Mulligans’ 8lb Irish Shepherd’s Pie Challenge!!

- American professional eater Randy Santel versus Mulligans' massive 8lb Irish Shepherd's Pie Eating Challenge, hosted by Mulligans Irish Pub and Grill in Franklin, Wisconsin which is just south off Milwaukee, WI in the USA. I've been wanting to rematch this huge and delicious food challenge ever since I originally failed it back in August 2019. I headed back to Mulligans Irish Pub and Grill so I could reattempt Mulligans' massive 8lb Irish Shepherd's Pie Challenge, which is technically a huge cottage pie because it is made with ground beef rather than lamb meat. I had 45 minutes to feast on four 2lb portions of Irish shepherd's / cottage pie that were stacked and smothered with lots of Mulligans' homemade Guinness gravy. The pie included about 5lbs of mashed potatoes total, plus lots of ground beef and healthy vegetables, and it was surrounded by four pieces of marble rye bread. I ordered some extra Guinness gravy to dip the bread into, which was not required as part of the base food challenge. I was trying to become one of the few elite people to finish everything within just 45 minutes, to win my $75 Irish shepherd's pie meal free plus another sweet Mulligans t-shirt and spot on their Wall of Fame board hanging inside the restaurant lobby. BIG thanks to Brian the owner, his family, and everyone with Mulligans Irish Pub and Grill in Franklin, Wisconsin for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Monday evening to watch and meet me!! Congratulations! So glad you clarified it actually being a cottage pie (made with beef). Shepherds pie is made with lamb or mutton. Excellent work, Randy.
The restaurant originally used lamb but it was less popular than now with beef, there.

As much as I respect all the others, some are simply unwatchable to me. Watching food fall out of people's mouth just to right back in makes me wanna gag. As much as I wanna click on Molly destroying that meal in 3 minutes, I've got a bad feeling I'll get grossed out 5 seconds in.
