      id love to see something similar.. but have the scouting staff as the dogs b**** and see if the team (or any of the teams) find any hidden gems. see if they can sell these gems at a profit.. to further help the clubs.

    • @Remianen
      @Remianen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Spoiler: It won't. Keepers are really dependent on the people in front of them. Unless the keeper is Nightcrawler, they won't be able to completely make up for a shoddy defense once you get into the levels where players are actually professionals with value.

    • @goodday4221
      @goodday4221 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Remianen it sounds like it would make quite the difference up to a certain point, and finding that point might be worth it.
      Also, what you say is true for real football but it may play out differently in the simulation. What if the super perfect keeper is 215cm tall? Surely his capacity for reaching the corners and far posts will be much greater than a 185cm tall keeper

    I'm not sure in fm, but I think klopp would edge it in real life. Pep's teams have always had an emphasis on technique above all. Not that there aren't players with good technique at lower league clubs, and not that technique can't be coached, but the level is not the same. Klopp's brand, however, can actually rely more on pure physical gifts in my mind. The other sides will be the same level as his, so I believe the pressing style actually becomes more effective if implemented properly at lower levels, because most players in lower leagues have a lower standard for technique and football decision making. Whether pep would implement a good pressing style is up for debate, but klopp also has history in managing in a lower league. That might be invaluable when pep has only managed big teams with some of the worlds best players.

    • @gunaodegaia9082

      @@caesar-dynastysports Maybe read what I said again, bro. I said he has a knack for putting an unlimited budget to use but he hasn't really been tested outside of that scenario. He has his distinct tika-taka stiyle obviously but he started that at barca where he had 100m+ transfer budget, going onto bayern where he had 100m+ transfer budget to city which has unlimited+ transfer budget. I didn't say unlimited transfer budget guarantees you success, I said that's the only enviroment Pep has been tested in, as opposed to other world class managers who started at smaller clubs where they actually had to deal with actually having to deal with juggling wages and transfer budget with what they already had

    In real life I think it would be Klopp.
    He’s a much more well rounded manager, he’s very charismatic and has a disarming nature.
    I feel he would command the respect of semi-pro working class players.
    Klopp is also amazing at getting the most out of a player, knowing their core strengths and almost min-maxing irl.
    Pep will 100% win this challenge in game.
    His reputation will play a massive factor in attracting talent, his adaptability makes him suitable for this league and his tactical attribute will mean he can handle any match situation.
    However irl I feel pep would struggle, unlike Klopp who gets the best out of a player, Pep is amazing at coaching and developing a player, however non league is very limited.
    Pep also has created a brand of football that is technically demanding, we haven’t seen anything else from Pep.
    Lastly and more importantly is Pep’s attitude that has been known to create conflict, eg: Ibra & Eto’o, I do not think a 29 year old brick layer would take kindly to his occasional & seemingly belittling persona!

    Not convinced managers make any difference. Also, on these experiments, if the matches aren’t being simmed in full detail than the results could just be random?

    • @WorkTheSpace

      The matches are simmed in full detail using the play in background option for other teams matches in FM22's preferences
