Because he saw Harry at King's Cross. Since Snape was neither at King's Cross, nor the Forbidden Forset when Snape used the resurrection stone... maybe he didn't die?
You also have to keep in mind that Snape might not choose to survive. He has the skill and I can see him making a snake venom antidote and I can even see him having it with him that night. I could see him prepared to take it right after the attack, as he had yet to tell Harry what he needed to know about Harry being the last horcrux. However, when Harry shows up right after the attack, he has the ability to pass on that information. He would know that he no longer has to protect Harry, as Harry's time has now come to meet his destiny. He can also no longer serve as a double agent because Voldemort has now seen the need for Snape to be dead. Snape's missions have been fulfilled. His one friend that truly saw him for who he was, Dumbledore, is no longer on the scene. There is literally nothing left for him that would draw him to want to remain. At this point, with everything accomplished, I think he would see it as a release to be able to let go and be reunited with Lily. So while he probably had an antidote, I can definitely see him choosing not to take that antidote, even if it were on hand.
Rowling adepted her wrinting to follow the aging of the original fanbase and main characters. Around book 4starts to use teenager thematics and in the 7 young adults.
Unfinished Business is just a Myth for Ghosts. In Harry Potter, Dumbledore didn't fear death, and in Order of the Pheonix Harry asks Nearly Headless Nick about the process of how one becomes a ghost, and Nick explained that he was afraid of death, afraid of what happened after you die. Dumbledore didn't care whether he died or not, he was dying anyway, and when Snape told Dumbledore he had around a year left to live, the Book described as Dumbledore acting calm after hearing that News, like he was ready to die.
yeah. dumbledore accepted that he needed to die by snape's hand. or wand. to gain big V's trust to snape. he lived quite long and i'm sure he knew that sacrifices needed to be made. even if it means his death. he did what he can to help harry. and he did accomplish so much during his life. plus, it would be very tormenting to be stuck as a ghost for someone like dumbledore.
Because if he was a "symbol of Death or DEATH itself" he needed to conclude his earthly life and be in the Eternal realm for Harry to meet later.. .probably why we didn't see him in the Forest as a ghost like the Others.🙂💞🌎
Me today being a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: "Professor Snape, you are still alive! After all these times" Severus Snape: "Always"
Snape does have a portrait in the castle but it isn't in the headmaster's office. He was , after all, a long time teacher at Hogwarts. He just wasn't a very popular one in either position. His time as headmaster was less than a year.
I feel it would be possible that Snape survived, and I would imagine after he fulfilled his duty to Dumbledore to protect the boy who lived, that he probably would start a new life. The man suffered, why would he want to stay.
The deepest part of me hopes and begs that this theory is true and Snape is still alive out there. He is my favorite character of the whole harry potter series...
New ending: Snape decides to grow a garden, he still lives on the memory of lily potter. Severus decides to plant some lily plants. He wishes to keep then alive this time.
Hey! That's a wonderful thought. He didn't die because - 1. The verb 'knew' could indicate that Dumbledore and Snape are not headmasters anymore rather than taking the more obvious meaning that they both have died. 2. As he was a spy, he wanted to keep a distance from both the order and death eaters, hence, he didn't participate in the battle. 3. Although, he might not have had an antidote because of the possibility that dark lord might use Nagini instead of a killing curse are very rare, still Snape could have definitely done something to claim hia title the half-blood prince. 4. He must be secretly looking at Potter with his patronus over the years. 5. As you rightly pointed out, the man of his credentials cannot have such a tragic, unworthy and precedented death. The thought in itself is too weary. 6. He must have gone to a place for settling his thoughts and retiring with the best possible ways of living. Thank you.
I would say that his ghost could come back tho, and haunt the shrieking shack-he didn’t want to die, he feared death because he still wanted to bring down Voldemort? Idk
Snape’s love for Lily is what made Snape keep on protecting Harry. Snape is quite the mysterious character but I know he’s well prepared for the worst. Snape is alive; the writer may do a plot twist to show us this in further sequels. I hope to see him reappear somewhere down the line.
Snape was prepared for Voldemort to try to kill him at some point, and he was also capable of defending himself like few others could. In the books only Dumbledore is better than Snape. We can imagine that Snape may be an actual match for Voldemort. Remember, the book notes he had raised his wand, ready to defend himself, but Voldemort then does the unexpected and attacks him in a way that he can't defend. As great as it would be for him to be alive, he did die. And, the reason that he wasn't in the forest was that he truly hated Harry. He loved Lily. He risked and the sacrificed everything for her memory, but he treaded Harry as if he were an an abusive step-father, who loves the mother but not the son she had with someone else.
dude thats cope snape long dead, he was better than anyone in hogwarts except for dumbledor BUT voldemort was on equal footing with dumbledor, snape wouldnt have lasted long against him
Well... There's a large side of wants to believe snape actually survived. Reasons 1. He was a great wizard and a potionsmaster. He is one of the only few characters in HP who could prevent voldermort reading his mind, who was one of the greatest legilimence. 2. Being a very good potions master he is bound to have emergency potion to survive any situation. Also, If harry can summon firebolt from the gryffindor tower in goblet of fire, why cant snape summon a antidote for snake venom from his study if he's not carrying one. Also there is mention of a possibility of snape can transfigure into animagus as a bat.(when he flees from the battle with minerva McGonigall). There is a possibility when he was recovered from nagini's bite, already voldermort was defeated. Snape had a thing with the potters and at the end of the deathly hallows, if he was alive, i can perfectly believe that he could have lived elsewhere instead showing himself to the wizarding world exactly like there is a fan theory saying newt scammander lived as buckbeak.
I'm a writer and I know everything in a movie or novel is there on purpose. When Snape's introduction mentioned "putting a stopper in death" had a purpose. I completely agree with you.
Snape isn’t meant to still be alive. His reward for everything he accomplished was to finally be at peace instead of living every day with his heart torn in two.
he absolutely had an army of demons. i can't imagine him living a normal life. he'd have wizard PTSD or something. probably be on magical antidepressants and be talking to a therapy witch every Tuesday afternoon.
Dude invented Sectum sempra And made it to torcher himself instead of lashing out at the marauders Notice he dosent need a counter to the spell, he just blocks his mind and pushes the spell off XD But still goes on to invent a counter for others afflicted by his own spell I couldnt agree more that this was Snapes reward and we the Snape respecters love him for it He finnaly can be with his one true friend in death And tell her he never forgot her and never will And since theres no physical connection, there's no human jealously in death
Yes you are absolutely right. The Reason that Snape was able to protect Harry was because he looked like James and always remembered him for his father. He made Harry hate himself because he was actually trying to punish himself for the fate of their parents. And once Harry knew the Reality,he would never have taken any of Snape's talks and comments seriously and would've been a bit awkward for someone who hated you for 7 years, suddenly turns out to be your original undercover Guardian. It would really have felt differently. So I think it was better that Snape died and finally met Lily
@@sauhamvyas7361 He would have punished himself for the fate of Lily, but he didn't give a rat's ass about James OR Harry. Dumbledore was disgusted by this. When Snape went to 12 Grimmauld Place, he even took part of a letter that just said "Love, Lily" and tore a photo of Harry's parents in half, taking only the part with Lily, not with James OR Harry in it. Dumbledore used Snape's feelings for Lily alone to hold him to raising Lily's son, to make up for what he'd done.
Following the theory, as you mentioned, Snape would need to take the anti venom before Nagini attacked. Therefore, was Snape frequently ingesting anti-venom every time there was a possibility of danger? I think Snape would have the capabilities of producing a permanent anti-venom. (I don't want Snape to be dead). RIP Alan Rickman.
Unlees stated otherwise, snakes of that size arent venoumos, they curl around the victim and breaks its bones. Killing by afixia or internal blood loss.
Shape claimed he could "put a stopper in death" had access and knowledge of unicorn's blood and tears from a Phoenix as professor of potions. these supplies could have been acquired from the school's supply, Dumbledore's office or the dark forest. yet none of the people in Potter's team or Shape carried these life saving remedies.
To be honest that always just seemed like a dramatic statement he was making to first years as he swept in with his long black robes and intimidating nature. I think this was more generally referring to a variety of potions/remedies that can halt/reverse the progression of different causes of death, like bezoars for poisons or a snake anti-venom. If there was a potion that could literally stop death no matter the cause, then it must have ingredients that are nearly impossible to get or incredibly complex, one-mistake-and-you'll-no-longer-have-eyebrows-or-a-heartbeat steps to successfully make it. Otherwise, everyone would carry a vial or two and no wizarding community member would die. If such a complex, nigh impossible potion were to exist, yes Snape would probably be one of the most likely to have some, but I just don't think it's likely or wise as a plot device to introduce :) Have a great day!
To me, it makes sense. Snape was perhaps the greatest wizard of all time or well on his way to being so and it would make sense given his absolute thirst for knowledge that he would just like to disappear and study his magic in peace. It’s similar to what Voldemort did when he went missing for 10 years. I want so badly for it to be true that he lived because he was truly the most loving character. Alan Rickman, God bless him, played him perfectly, giving him the depth that he needed and deserved along with securing the strange affection we all felt for him without necessarily knowing why. Rowling worked with Alan to make sure that he portrayed Snape in a way to show his true colors even before they were revealed to us. It’s a brilliant character development, more so than even Harry.
I imagine he's dead, but I can also believe that Rowling might have been slightly ambiguous in case she ever wanted to write about him again. I don't think she will though, because Snape living diminishes his sacrifice, which is such a powerful part of the story.
Its certainly possible Snape could be alive, he is certainly talented enough and cunning enough. As you state the specific spell created by Snape himself for counteracting blood loss and his potion prodigal skill, as well as his cunning nature could are all considerably significant points counted towards Snape surviving. These points you mention are very interesting and story wise would make a lot of sense as its content developed over several books that we know about the character which all point to his at ability and capability to have survived this scene.
Let us also remember that the first encounter in the movie ( and book as well if i recall right ) with Snape in the class , he clearly states the following: " I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death. " So he basically states that he can cheat various deaths through probably very complex potions. I dont know about others but I personally would've kept such a life-saving vial with me in such dark times. Snape seemed to carry vials with him anyway, like the vertitaserum , after all he's a potion master.
After this video, I think I can watch this movie series again. When I thought Snape died, I was done with Harry Potter. Now with the thought of my FAVORITE character not perishing, just reignited the flame!!!! Thank you!!!
My theory is that Fawkes would have appeared after the trio left the room and healed him... at least that's what I tell myself to give some hope for Snape, and perhaps Dumbledore as well - to show that he cared about him, that he wasn't just a pawn in his huge masterplan.
There is a statement that contradicts this. Fawkes was never hogwarts possession he belonged to Dumbledore. During dumbledores funeral fawkes sang his lament. He subsequently left after the death of his master and his ties with the school was over. Perhaps after that he became a wild phoenix again ( prior to when Dumbledore owned fawkes was said to spend his life as a wild phoenix)
hermione granger I believe it depends on how you look at things. Dumbledore was an incredible man and his connection with Fawkes was very strong and Fawkes was loyal to him. In this theory, Fawkes came back on behalf of Dumbledore to atone for all the pain he caused Snape, and gave him a second chance.
Ur right He should have held Harry and said "you know i cant forgive your father, but ill never forget your mother. Many say it, bit you remind me more of her then him. But that hair cut" an just ruin the suspense on a hair cut line, cuz we know Harry's hair stays the same
It felt completely different when Snape said it. Because it was at this very last moment that he sees Harry has his mother too inside him. He hated Harry all his life just because he looked like James, but after all it was Lily for which he was doing all this. So when he finally looked at his eyes,he realized that his job has done and now he can meet Lily with proud
I think it hit the hardest when snape said it because you wouldn't expect snape to say something like that. plus at that point, harry didnt know how close snape was to lily so he was probably confused why snape would say that.
@@mohmedhassan6875 I have a feeling that is exactly HOW Snape eluded captivation of any sort. The sheer amount of time he spent meditative concerning being glib & whiney about his being glib & whiney toward Potter's mother for example.....

What kind of potion master does not have an antidote to a snake when his master has a massive venomous beast, besides if JK wants him alive for story (money) reasons he can come back
Eh, I think it would have been better for him to live and get a happy ending. For as much bullshit as he had to go through, even being forced to kill Dumbledore - dude deserved to settle down. Surprised they didn't give him a scene with the resurrection stone where he talks to Lilly, finally lets everything go, and settles down with some cute weirdo chick.

In orde of the phoenix, when Hagrid teached about Thestrals, he "sees 2 other thestrals coming". This means he has seen somebody been murdered, but who?
One doesn't have to witness a murder to see thestrals, only see someone die. As a member of the Order of the Phoenix, Hagrid has probably wtinessed more than his share of deaths.
I would very much like to think that Snape had survived. I agree that it seems unlikely that he would be prepared for every contingency. He was extremely observant and had a brilliant mind. I prefer to think that he seized the opportunity to leave his old life behind and slip into obscurity. It's not like he had anything to return to anyway. If I had played the double agent and been the personal counsel for two of the most powerful wizards in the wizarding world for 13 years, I'd certainly want to live out the rest of my life in peace and quiet.
Personally I think Snape is, probably, still alive. I mean, there are clues in the first few moments of Snape's involvement with Harry Potter. Remember that he told his students on day 1: "There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in the class. As such I don't expect most of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is....potion making. But for the select few, who possess the predisposition....I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can show you how to brew Glory, bottle Fame, and even put a stopper....in Death!" (recited from memory by me) Was he just bragging? Or could he really reverse or "stopper" death, in certain circumstances? I think it is entirely possible that Snape took an anti-venom specifically to guard against Nagini. As you pointed out, when he thought Voldemort was going to curse him directly, he raised his wand. Perhaps he thought that he'd found a way to negate the Killing curse as well? We know that is possible, because Dumbledore has done it. Perhaps Voldemort ALSO thought this likely, and didn't want to "risk" a duel with another of the most powerful Wizards alive; especially as his faith in the Elder Wand's power was shaken. Hence he struck through Nagini, rather than his preferred method of Avada Kedavra.
There is also a precedent that Nagini's attacks don't kill you that quickly. Quite a lot more time passed between the attack of Snape, and his "death", than between the attack on Arthur Weasley, and the time he was finally brought to St. Mungo's.
@@ikaros9727 well, sirius told snape how to freeze the womping willow so he could go into it and find a werewolf lupin (ofc it was just a joke) because snape was very nosy about it. When James realised what sirius did, he went and saved snape before lupin could turn him into a werewolf but snape always thought that James potter only did it so that he would never get expelled.
Jvitesh Yup. Simpler, in fifth year, Sirius told Snape to go find Lupin and if he had he would’ve been killed by Lupin in his werewolf form, but James stopped him.
As you know, the Marauders continuously bullied Snape (most of the time for not reason at all) as a result, Snape started to spy on them, hoping to catch them breaking the rules (which the 4 did all the time) so that he could report them and eventually get them expelled. As a result, the 4 bullied him some more, because they considered him a wet blanket, spoiling their fun. At the day in question, he was following them again, ( he had observed their strange behaviour around full moon). So, Sirius ( who even in adult life struck me as hotheaded and irresponsible) lured Snape into the passage towards the Shrieking shack where Lupin was transforming . Things could have got really bad for Snape- injured or killed. At the last moment James realised S's death could get them into serious trouble , so he hurried to save him, at the same time threatening S into keeping quiet about the whole thing. Snape never forgot the incident. It made him twice bitter 1. The 4 put his life in danger in the first place. 2. He loathed the fact that he owed his life to James- his worst enemy.
Snape would have died and James, Sirius, Lupin, and Wormtail would have most likely been expelled for it (and probably been sent to Azkaban for good measure). Lily and James don't get together, and thus Harry is never born. Voldemort reigns supreme (either that or Neville would be the Chosen One to deal with Voldemort instead).
I wish Snape was alive because he ended up being my favorite! His protection and sacrifice tore at my heart strings. He had to pretend to harass Harry or Voldemort would have known and seen through it all. Snape couldn’t ever show his weakness. In privet during occlimancy classes he seemed to have been less guarded. It was always in Harry’s best interest Snape seem put off by Harry. But deep in his heart because of Lily, he had care and concern he could never show. Snape being in a portrait though makes me think too he died. How else would he end up in the portrait.
Everybody hated him the whole series and at the end they love him. It hurts me in the beginning of the second book how ron was saying that maybe he got sacked since everybody hates him and it made me cry
Snape wasn't there because he didn't have a loving smile to give. Those were all for Lily. But I've always had the theory that if Dumbledore did in fact die, that his final words was a request begging Snape to make a horcrux and continue on being the legend he always was. He certainly deserved more time.
biggest sin of this movies is : they didnt find the actress with the same eye color like harry, sinse they say this thousend times true the series/ you have ur mothers eyes...NOOOO HE HAVENT
Adult Lilly did have blue eyes. Child Lilly unconsciously used magic to temporarily change her eye color to brown. P.S.: Why didn’t they fix it in the DVD? What are they payed for?
I read online that the Actress that playd Lilly had the green eyes that she was supposed to have. And Daniel was supposed to use lenses to change his eye color to green. But he had an alergic reaction to them so he couldn't use them. So that's why they don't have the same eye color. But originaly she had green eyes. That's what i've read multiple times online so i don't know...
A great vid, when Harry visited Dumbledore inside of his mind Dumbledore says poor Severus. I took that to mean that he was dead but you bought up some interesting points
I also believe that Snape's alive given the argument also think that what Snape told his students in his first class I can teach you how to Bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses I can tell you how to bottle fame Brew Glory and even Put a stopper in death If he can teach 11 year olds to survive from near death its quite reasonable to think that he can do it himself
I guess I assumed that snape didn’t meet him at the end with Lilly and the mauraders because he spent basically his whole life being tormented by James and serious as well as the memories of them and now he was finally free. Though your theory does make sense too. Tbh he was such a gifted potions master that it’s a problem for me that his life’s work died the same day he did in the room of requirement. I do kinda like the idea that he lived a stress free life somewhere making potions and maybe polyjuiced himself a different body for anonymity
I think it's kind of pointless to theorise this. There was nothing left for Snape in the world. He had done all he had set out to do, and now was his time to rest.
great theory! But i think it would be just a bit cleaner if we acknowledge that if snape was indeed alive, he likely faked his death as to not have to deal with the repercussions of murdering Dumbledore. After all, it was a secret kept between the two. theres no way snape would get to live a peaceful life if the wizarding world were after him. But its much more likely that he died, as there was no happy ending for him because of the many mistakes of his past.
The reason Rowling made Nagini kill snape instead of Voldemort killing him is that if Voldemort killed him, Harry wouldn't have been able to see his memories which were an important role in the story.
Voldemort was also afraid that a killing curse cast towards the (what he thinks) true owner of the elder wand could potentially rebound and hit him. Once Nagini had killed Snape the wand would switch master (like it always has) to him naturaly!
Snape also could've went into the forest to find the resurrection stone after the battle of hogwarts so he could see Lliy one more time. Also the tale of the 3 brothers refers to Harry Voldemort Snape and Dumbledoere being death. So when death took the 2nd brother for his own because he wanted meet the love of his life once again. And you all know what the 2nd brother did.
It is feasible as you say he was smart always able to fool Voldemort and the death eaters consistently and as a potions master would have the stuff he need to meet any situation outside the killing curse they might throw at him! So there is a reasonable possiblity! Even I thought about that at times but never said anything! But it does hold a great deal of logic!
Horcruxes were used by Voldemort and Herpo, but if any other wizard was capable of learning how to create horcruxes and surviving the process other than Dumbledore or Grindelwald, it was Snape, but I doubt he ever considered it even when he was a true Death Eater.
beautifullly said, however i have 1 thing to point out Vulnera Sanentur was a countercurse for Sectumsempra, not for all types of bleeding but only as a counter-curse for this spell only so hecouldn't have stoped his bleeding from Naginis bites but you made a good point as a potions master he would have had anti-venom.
I was willing to hear your argument, but when would've Snape taken the antidote. It looked like Snape expected Voldemort to kill him, not be bitten by the snake. However I will admit, that you convinced me that yes he MAY be alive.
Snape's attack wasn't the first time Voldemort used Nagini. So it's reasonable to believe Snape could have been dosing himself with anti-venom/poison prevention daily, weekly, or something similar.
Dumbledore wasn’t in the forbidden forest with Harry. He names his son after him and Snape but neither are there, only Harry’s family: Lupin, Sirius, Lilly snd James
Hey Mate, Can you do a video on Hermione's role model(Professor McGonagall) and how it affected her life? (P.s. Your voice has the ability to make anyone's day.)
When Arthur was bitten by Nagini it was very hard for the healers to close the wounds and they found him right away. Snape wasn’t found and rushed to the hospital like Arthur was. Therefore, I believe that he bled out. I think that the resurrection stone was for loved ones, and although Harry found out that Snape was helping him all along, I still don’t think what he felt for Snape was ever love.
Snape devoted a lot of his adulthood to Harry. If his promise was to protect him, surely he would have returned to Harry. Also, he could have stayed longer as potions master. I think Rowling intended for Snape to die, but in trying to make his death more slow and discreet, made it into a mystery, like the rest of Snape's life.
If I'm not wrong, in THE CURSED CHILD (referring to it since JK ROWLING herself says it's canon), when Scorpius reaches the timeline where Voldemort had won, Harry was dead and Snape was still at Hogwarts. Scorpius is told that Harry died because Nevile had been killed earlier and hence Voldemort's last Horcorux i.e Nagini was still alive. In the main timeline, this event takes place after the attack on snape and so same must have happened in the dark timeline too and therefore it can be concluded that Snape was still at Hogwarts after Voldemort's victory because he had survived the snake attack and so it is also possible in the main timeline
I want him to still be alive, so yes. I agree that this is theory is very plausible! And, thank you for giving me back my favorite character! Now, he's not dead!
He had to "appear to die" as this would convince everyone that his role was done.....

I just hope Snape never died I love that character so much and how brave he was ....

I think Snape is still alive, or died just a year before Albus Severus Potter's birth. Anyways, he did not die in the wizarding war at Hogwarts.
Snape had better things to do in his life than die prematurely
Why didn't Dumbledore become a ghost?
He certainly has lots of 'unfinished business'.
Because ghost suffer eternally and dumbledore welcomes death
Because if he was a "symbol of Death or DEATH itself" he needed to conclude his earthly life and be in the Eternal realm for Harry to meet later.. .probably why we didn't see him in the Forest as a ghost like the Others.🙂💞🌎

Wouldn't Snape be in his own portrait in the headmasters office?
Yes, he was after all a headmaster at Hogwarts
Rock Paper Scissors:

Snape does have a portrait in the castle but it isn't in the headmaster's office. He was , after all, a long time teacher at Hogwarts. He just wasn't a very popular one in either position. His time as headmaster was less than a year.
Yes Harry made sure that he remains in the Headmasters office as an portrait even after he didn't actually resigned from his post
The portraits do speak even if the person they are a copy of are still alive.

He didn't die because -
Thank you.
I really want to believe this theory but JK already confirmed that Snape died 😫

Severus snape is a beautiful character... r.i.p
Reasons
1. He was a great wizard and a potionsmaster. He is one of the only few characters in HP who could prevent voldermort reading his mind, who was one of the greatest legilimence.
2. Being a very good potions master he is bound to have emergency potion to survive any situation. Also,
If harry can summon firebolt from the gryffindor tower in goblet of fire, why cant snape summon a antidote for snake venom from his study if he's not carrying one.
Dude invented Sectum sempra
And made it to torcher himself instead of lashing out at the marauders
Notice he dosent need a counter to the spell, he just blocks his mind and pushes the spell off XD
But still goes on to invent a counter for others afflicted by his own spell
I couldnt agree more that this was Snapes reward and we the Snape respecters love him for it
He finnaly can be with his one true friend in death
And tell her he never forgot her and never will
And since theres no physical connection, there's no human jealously in death
Pythons are not venemous
Unlees stated otherwise, snakes of that size arent venoumos, they curl around the victim and breaks its bones. Killing by afixia or internal blood loss.
@@yoyoabhishek777 Tell that to Arthur Weasley. Also, the anti-venom already existed because of one having to be found to cure Arthur.
No I think, by put a stopper, he meant that he would be able to make a potion that could kill. (A stopper is a cork-like thing)
So he basically states that he can cheat various deaths through probably very complex potions. I dont know about others but I personally would've kept such a life-saving vial with me in such dark times. Snape seemed to carry vials with him anyway, like the vertitaserum , after all he's a potion master.
This was one of the only theories which I personally had theorised and thnx for confirming it in a way but I think he survived
Yeah Snape was pretty smart, you would think that he would know Voldemort would double cross him.
Or at least be aware of a such possibility.
Didn't Snape say he could put a stopper to death?
that was just a saying, no potion can actually do that
I'd count alchemy's philosopher stone as involving potions
After this video, I think I can watch this movie series again.
When I thought Snape died, I was done with Harry Potter. Now with the thought of my FAVORITE character not perishing, just reignited the flame!!!!
Thank you!!!
Real moment of grief silence when you realise Alan Rickman is no more.
My theory is that Fawkes would have appeared after the trio left the room and healed him... at least that's what I tell myself to give some hope for Snape, and perhaps Dumbledore as well - to show that he cared about him, that he wasn't just a pawn in his huge masterplan.
That would actually make the whole thing plausible. I don't buy any of the other theories

He should have held Harry and said "you know i cant forgive your father, but ill never forget your mother.

In orde of the phoenix, when Hagrid teached about Thestrals, he "sees 2 other thestrals coming". This means he has seen somebody been murdered, but who?

I would very much like to think that Snape had survived. I agree that it seems unlikely that he would be prepared for every contingency. He was extremely observant and had a brilliant mind. I prefer to think that he seized the opportunity to leave his old life behind and slip into obscurity. It's not like he had anything to return to anyway. Wow literally ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS!!! I would LOVE to believe Snape is alive but all of your theory in this video makes complete sense!!
Mungo's.
Video suggestion: What if James never saved Snape from Lupin?
Hey, Would you elaborate on that please? I haven't read the books. Was it shown in the movies?
The portraits are make before the person they are a copy of dies. So one thing does not necessarily mean the other.

great theory!
This makes me feel better 😭🙏💞
Thanks a ton for making this video I had suggested you for this and you made it
The reason Rowling made Nagini kill snape instead of Voldemort killing him is that if Voldemort killed him, Harry wouldn't have been able to see his memories which were an important role in the story.
Voldemort was also afraid that a killing curse cast towards the (what he thinks) true owner of the elder wand could potentially rebound and hit him.
Once Nagini had killed Snape the wand would switch master (like it always has) to him naturaly!
Thanks for making this video, and for making all your videos, they make me smile 😊
I AGREE!! Kinda thought this all along. JK could do a follow-up book, putting the world back together.
Snape also could've went into the forest to find the resurrection stone after the battle of hogwarts so he could see Lliy one more time.
I've heard someone say that the reason snape's last words to Harry were to look at him was so the last things snape saw were lily's eyes.
That's exactly why!!!
1st again how I’m confused. Hope your keeping well btw! :D
no your not
You're 8th
Horcruxes were used by Voldemort and Herpo, but if any other wizard was capable of learning how to create horcruxes and surviving the process other than Dumbledore or Grindelwald, it was Snape, but I doubt he ever considered it even when he was a true Death Eater.
I’m early yay 😁 thanks for making these videos! Everyone have a great day and remember to wash your hands and wear a mask! 🤜🏻🤛🏻😷😁🙃
One of my favorite details is that final "Look at me" Snape wanted to die looking into Lily's eyes.
Can you do a video about how the Perverell brothers made the deathly hollows?
beautifullly said, however i have 1 thing to point out Vulnera Sanentur was a countercurse for Sectumsempra, not for all types of bleeding but only as a counter-curse for this spell only so hecouldn't have stoped his bleeding from Naginis bites but you made a good point as a potions master he would have had anti-venom.
Snape was the coolest character in the series!
Hey Mate,
Can you do a video on Hermione's role model(Professor McGonagall) and how it affected her life?
(P.s. Your voice has the ability to make anyone's day.)
My favourite character 💚💚
Same!!!
Professor snape and the order of the phoenix knew an antidote to Naginis venom do exist ever since authur Weasleys return in the 5th book.
I thought Snape didn’t appear in the forest for the same reason Dumbledore didn’t. Harry was close to them but not THAT personally
Snape is the best profesor at hogwarts🖤💚🖤 i miss him so much
Snape devoted a lot of his adulthood to Harry. If his promise was to protect him, surely he would have returned to Harry. Also, he could have stayed longer as potions master. I think Rowling intended for Snape to die, but in trying to make his death more slow and discreet, made it into a mystery, like the rest of Snape's life.
I want to interview JK Rowling why she wants to kill everyone in the whole series after the. Boy who lived when he survived
No Snape died. To have survived goes against Jo’s theme of sacrifice.
Also, he himself said in the first movie that he can put a stopper to death with potions.
I want him to still be alive, so yes. I agree that this is theory is very plausible! And, thank you for giving me back my favorite character! Now, he's not dead!
I love your channel! And your voice is also so amazing!
