I’ve been play hidden strictly for all my time of osu but for whatever reason my jump ability just isn’t the same as nomod. I’m not a great player by any means but I’ll give you an example. My first 7* fc was on a jump map sight read with nomod however this very map I have like a 4 miss with hidden and can’t see myself really fcing it with hidden no matter how many tries I put because hidden almost limits my jump ability. I’m better at following streams, I’m better at tech, but I can’t do bigger jumps consistently with hidden. In that aspect to me, hidden is a crutch and remember all I play is hidden so the fact that I can say that says something. Another prime example is on the hardest maps this game has to offer, maps with only passes on it, no fcs, or maybe 1 to 2 fcs, all of them have something in common. The number 1 scores on the map normally are nomod only. Example like Arche, apparition, any of the long aids deathstream maps, often times have a few hidden players in the lower end of the top 50 on the map with nomod being at the top and that’s because the gap between the top hidden players is huge from the top nomod players. The best hidden player can’t do the same shit that the best nomod player can do with nomod when it comes to breaching limits if that makes sense.

In just 2 years the skill level is considerably higher, to the point where he DT a 5/6 minutes long map for a total of 10* ! I'm gonna be honest. I'm scared, like REALLY scared of what the future holds.
