I've been trying to pass this map for like a week now then i saw the leaderboards again and saw a s on the side and i was like woah who- screamed at top of my lungs when i saw vaxei fced this 17 minute map
I’ve never seen Vaxei get this excited out of all of his crazy scores I’ve seen him set. It’s a lil heartwarming to know he’s just like the rest of us and still gets really excited when he sets these scores, as evident by the desk slam at the end.
We may expect him to come back at 2022 as far as I know about South Korea's conscription service, though it's a 50/50 if Cookiezi might even play it normally compared from before

The reason I brought up FDFD is because not only was the score so unprecedented for the time, it’s STILL not even surpassed by even HR only scores, and it beats most nomod scores too. On top of that, it was done 5 years ago.
The scores he sets these days are so incredible that we almost forget that he already was the best player in the world in 2019, despite not being as good at all as he is today. Total respect to him :)

In owc 2019 his performance was second best behind idke’s, and in solo there still was Shige and idke aswell putting out great scores. In 2020 he was basically far ahead of anyone. Best performer by very far in owc2020 and in solo almost all of his scores are either super hard, or impossible to snipe x) In my opinion FlyingTuna is the second best currently in the world but I still think there is a gap between those two. He was the best in 2019 but not by that far compared to now :)

@@urioosu4080 I don’t see why he would want to waste his time on farm maps, when it’s pretty much already obvious that he’s the current number one when looking at his tournament and solo achievements ^^ He definitely will gain more pp, but I think most of it will be “unintentional pp” (like this map. It’s more for the achievement itself than the pp that you try to fc a map like that).

In this case the the part is 240 bpm rather than 220 like most of the rest of the song so the mapper set up a kiai there. You can tell a kiai part apart from the rest of the map by the circles having a flash effect on beat and if you don't use full dim the background will also flash slightly at least when the kiai starts, I don't know the exact system since I have had full dim for 7 years on main client.

They are both good, I would be scared to see how good whitecat would be if he didn’t get banned, he would’ve had way more motivation to grind etc. But imo vaxei rn is more consistent than whitecat, things could change though.
I remember when there was a custom match of pros going against other pros on this map and white cat won slightly and then one of the pros said looks like white cat is better looks like vaxei took that to heart

Vaxei is at his peak rn but both players still improving and WhiteCat recently switching to different tapping style things may change
