This is super helpful for me. I too am wavy and my kiddos have a wet brush that I haven’t tried. I was thinking about purchasing a Denman- after seeing comments and watching this I’ll be giving the Wet brush a go!
Lov the suggestion of beard oil! Can’t wait to try that! Just purchased the wet pro brush so thx for the video. Have never used either just a wide tooth comb and comb it out last upside down with good results.
You have beautiful hair 😍 as for the brushes, I think I’ll like to try them both (and the tangle teaser) to know which one I like best. Great video, thank you for the demonstration! ✨
I’ve tried the de man brush a couple of times now and I’m not that enamoured. I can get nice ringlets on top if I twist but it seems to destroy my 2b-3a waves. The ringlets did stay in shape well, which I liked. Even when I didn’t wash for 3 days (my hair, that is!!) And I got decent volume. I’m new to this curly lark. I always had straight hair, then shaved it off for charity and it’s grown back curly. I love it, but am struggling to get a routine or products that get me good results. I want bouncy ringlets like yours but it generally ends up a bit stringy!
I was struggling with stringy curls too until I watched swavycurlycourtney's video about flash drying. Aloe and flax seed gel break my curl clumps up badly. Since I cut them out my curls clump much better. I also need lots of water while styling and more leave in and curl cream than I thought. Good luck! 💕
@@krisdiane Thanks! I’m getting there as I go, testing various products- I’m in Spain and at the moment it’s so hot and humid that it only ever looks good for about 30 minutes!! I love watching these videos though and getting ideas. I joined the Quinn app and that’s good for tips too
@@anjiparker6332 do you follow manes by Mell? She's a professional hair stylist that specializes in curly hair. She got really in depth videos and she explains how to help our hair hold up to humidity. I highly recommend her no matter what your curl pattern. ❤️
@@krisdiane I have seen some of her videos and really enjoyed them. I followed her advice when I cut my own hair and it worked out ok! I’ll have another look through them as it would be good to stop the frizz!! 😱😱
Is this technique for people with curly or wavy hair? I recently found out I have type 2A hair, plop my hair with a shirt and then scrunch it with mousse but my waves don’t hold that long. Never tried a wet brush/denman brush before though. And does Moroccan oil also work for this? Your hair is so pretty 😍
Really appreciate this video - I’m new to styling my hair, so it’s super helpful for me to see how you do it so well.
The wet brush side seems to form the clumps much better. Def giving it a try this morning. Ty
Oh my gosh! Your hair is gorgeous!
Gorgeous hair.
I'm a wavy too and I prefer my Wet brush over my Denman results every single time.

Great video! Loved how you keep it real.
I prefer my denman brush because I have fine curly hair and it brings out more volume in my hair. :)
Thank you so much for this! Super love your ringlets!
Amazing hair!

Always great to see you! 🥰
Wet Brush for me👍🤣
You trying to brush both sides at the same time 😂

It’s a hit or miss technique. Some love the brush and some say it pulls all their curl out
Can anyone tell me the name of this curly, please? I would like to give her a follow. Thank you.❤
Curly cathi. If you use Facebook I have a group called “our curly method”
:::: keeps talking and demonstrating as house gets destroyed behind her:::: 😂😂😂😂😂
That’s my every single day 😂
That’s some commitment right there 😌
Definitely think ur curly not wavy lol could be the density of ur hair tricking me though
