I thought I replied to this. Anyway, we did change out the wheels on the Lexus about the time you sent this message. Those Chinese rims are terrible. The ride improved dramatically after we got the 17" OEM rims off a wrecked GS400.
Hey mate, have the same car with the same color. It's the best car ever This car would probably heal itself. I drove 175,000 miles in it with no issues. 1_Regarding the windows, the motors are fine you just need to replace the rubber sealing where the window and the door meet as they loose their elasticity causing this issue. 2_ If the water is getting to the mats, you need to clean the drains located on the bottom of the front doors 99.99% water would be getting in from there . 3_ if the roof is opening half way than closing back it's not an electrical issue just put some sonax on the moving parts of the roof and it will run as new.
Thanks man! I wish I would have had you to ask about such things when I first got the QX4. Eventually everything was resolved. I needed some space so I had to sell the QX4 but thankfully I had a good friend that needed something like that and he is a huge fan of Nissan of this era. He worked for Nissan in Japan for a time as well. I sold it to him as cheap as I could and he has made it better than ever. I did put grabber type all terrain tires on it also. I should have done an updated video. Those are such great suvs. I may find another one day when I'm in a better space position. But they are becoming more rare. It is a special vehicle not like most new things out now.
Turns out it was the drains by the front tires. They were so clogged that I had to remove the plastic enclosure and then I had a mini grabber that I just went up in there and started pulling junk out until there was no more. It has not leaked sense and thank God the smell of musty carpet has been gone for a long time.
Michael King How many miles does your have now? I’m thinking of looking at one today they asking 2800$ but the most I’ll pay is 2400$ it’s super clean inside and out 2003 but it has 208000 miles think it’s worth it?
Nice car and even better , nice Lexus GS! Switch those atrocious rims tho lol!

I have a 2002 with only 77,000 miles on it and I love this SUV, very capable with the 4AWD!
You got the good one being that it is 4x4 and has low miles. You could keep driving that for 10 more years.
Infiniti qx4 and a lexus gs 👌 one of the Best suv's and one of the Best sedans 👍

What year did infinity stop making the QX4? Thinking about purchasing one of these.
I think 2003
The sun roof drain might be clogged causing water to enter the cabin.

Saw a black one with 181k miles that on sale for 2k....think that's a steal
Yep, that is good. But make sure the transmission is good. And that there isn't any water damage.
rhem trucks are worth threre weight in gold
I wish that were true. I think this one even with the improvements I've made is only worth about $3100 now.
