Yeah, I started replaying too, the most just extended it's lifespan, games such as fallout and the elder scrolls are immortal, you'l lsee people playing morrowind to this day, and despite it's age, morrowind is still very entertaining today.

There's a lot of cut dialogue and scenes where Father/Shaun tells about his upbringing in the Institute, how his personality formed and at the end he realizes his mistakes and urges you to not make the same mistakes as he did. (super mutants, kidnapping etc). He wasn't supposed to die directly after the brotherhood is destroyed either. So originally he wasn't evil at all. Just very misguided and he finds that out after spending time with his father/mother. But ofc Bethesda fucked it all up. I have a mod that brings most cut dialogue back (it's the same exact voice so I know it's real) and Shaun is very different than in the vanilla.

these names really show you how the institute "said" it was doing and what the people perceiver them to be. "Imagine Utopia", "Humanity's Hope", "Science and Secracy" even though they are scum, they are a more overlooked fallout faction tbh
I used to despise the Institute for being completely evil seemingly without reason, but the pure beauty of their home, their absolutely amazing aesthetic (aside from the toilet armor), and that sense of promise for tomorrow made me sympathize with them just a little bit. Seriously, the architecture of the Institute is close to what I imagine a future utopia to look like.

i joined the institute in my second playthroug and im a good person, even if i work for the bad guys, not everyone down there is evil, they are friends, loving dads and moms, they are people, even the synth are, in the first time with the minuteme i make sure to hit that alarm, so the most people escape, i didnt shoot any scientific even if the shot me, (power armor so i was basically a walking bunker) no civilians where injured by my hands, now, with this new character, when i take the control of the institute in my roleplay ill try to repair all the damage shawn did to humanity, and use our science and or research for the good of the people (maybe contancting the minutemen and ask them for help) make clear to the people that theres a new director in the institute that wants the best for humanity, idk why they nuked the facility instead of taking over the place, years of research that we could have use for good, destroyed. sorry i dont speak english :/
Joining Institute and leading the Minutemen is the best chance you have at actually rebuilding the Commonwealth. The Railroad doesnt actually have any plans and the BoS keep any tech that could be reused. You leading both as a good person gives the chance of reform.

Nick Valentine is a prototype as well. He was made with limited knowledge and some pre-war tech. With how far the Institute has come it's not out of the question that they could download the Sole Survivor/Director's personality and mind, then, inject your very being into a Synthetic clone of you. You could be the the one morally good Director of the Institute, but if you extend your lifespan this way, you could very likely be the only Director they'd ever have again. This would guarantee the future of the Commonwealth, the Institute, and humanity.

The Fallout world after the great war is a cruel, harsh, and unstable one. There are so many things wrong that we consider normal in every game, but that is the world our characters live in. The political and moral philosophies of a stable society like our own do not apply the same to a post-nuclear apocalyptic world. There is no super-power to regulate these beliefs flawlessly, thus, every faction (except the minutemen (never forcing anyone to join them, and only protecting their own families and friends)) is capable of being accused of a list of violations, but they do them to survive, save lives, progress, and because in the chaos that is the harshness of the Fallout 4 universe, it is not as black and white as right and wrong. I recognise that the Institute should not excuse using humans as test subjects for experiments, turning them into super mutants, and stealing their memories to use for their synths. But I also think the Institute is the most optimistic, and intriguing minded faction for the rebuilding of the world that was annihilated during the Sino-American war on the 23rd of October. They also have my favourite soundtrack of the game 5:52

Ok my friend said he meet a character witch is a raider and his name is bosco and it said bosco is a raider he wears a mask called the teddy bear mask with is a high school mascot head and he got bit by an animal and effect his face and he went to the high school and found the mask and that is why he wheres the mask but you can kill bosco and take his mask

FEV is used in conjunction with Shaun's DNA to create 3rd Gen synths. Supermutants are a result of infecting radiation damaged DNA with FEV, which is pretty much every commonwealth citizen. Which is why they needed pre-war DNA.

Science and Secrecy made me side with the Institute my first playthrough, not kidding. Something about it was just so soothing.

Yeah the institute is the only one now that is not tainted and infected with ideologies of bos and enclave. No petty nation this and our territory that, but as they seek to make a brilliant deafening bright future for mankind.

Some of the scientists in the institute are misdirected in their fev virus and terrorism but when their directed to what's right they will be truly the future for mankind.
@@Izuru_Aeternae-Mortis Terrorism where and why I don't see it from them? And from what I understand the FEV wasnt intended to turn humans into super mutants but rather into better human beings, genetically modifed but it mutated wrong and got loose.
@@bluenightfury4365 during shaun's directorate days he had virgil and some other scientists (I don't know if it was one man work) to create super mutants to terrorize the commonwealth so that they would not be able to sort of be a threat to the institute.
I think they’re considered evil for that whole murdering people and replacing them, using slave labour, and committing acts of mass murder thing they do
