Looks like the dish was roti banjir- where the roti Chennai is doused in dhal, fish curry and chicken curry. They also add sambal But I couldn’t see it on his plate. The beef curry was probably sweet because it was modified to suit Malay n Chinese taste. Roti Chennai is essentially prata but Malaysia and Singapore hawkers (street food chefs) use condensed milk in making the Dough. If you go Singapore no one Refers to it as Roti Chennai. They call it roti prata and a lot of a Chinese eat it with raw sugar. Singapore also don’t serve banjir. One choice of curry
is served in a separate little plate.
