@@dty1207 It makes sense to me. The fusion/mondeo was discontinued in 2022 for Europe and North America. This is a new version that isn't available in those markets

We can have Ford but needed to go through by import trade agent privately. The cost is not worthy after taxes. China cars taking over now... many new China brands introducing this year. I really don't like scenery like that. We used to have many car brands but faded after years. Can't help.

Because out wonderful government is so full of restrictions, regulations, and taxes and other bulls**t that it isn't worth it for them to build here anymore.
I thought it was worldwide, here in Brazil it also stopped manufacturing in 2019/2020

It is pretty sweet looking vehicle. I liked my 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. I only had since last year in mid March 2022. When I first test drove it. Everything was new to me in the controls and even the technology in it.

Ford makes no sense to me anymore. I hopped off the ford train awhile ago. They don’t really care about what we want anymore. Only what makes money.
@@rezcellent they wanted $863 to change my 17 Fusion Energi spark plugs. i did it myself in about 45 minutes for under $50 using all Motorcraft parts including motorcraft dielectric grease.

Quite a step forward...Have 2019 fusion (mondeo) hybrid...Can see the evolution from sync 3 to this and its impressive..
Definitely higher end fit and finish too...But in the US Ford is going with SUV/EVs...enjoy them, China.

Très beau tableau de bord panoramique, très bien conçu. C’est plus qu’une tablette numérique posée sur le tableau de bord comme font beaucoup de constructeurs auto . C’est un vrai écran panoramique.
Pretty much everything in this vehicle is plain ridiculous but i dig it. I had a 2016 fusion, fully loaded. I loved it. Very fast, and smooth. Luxorious too. But, my commute got longer and them slim tires couldnt survive the commute. Some months id spend 1000 on tires and i wasnt even hitting curbs just had no choice but to go through construction. When my commute was shorter, it was my baby i loved it. Traded it in for a 2018 f150 xlt with no features whatsoever and couldnt be happier now that i can be confident nothings gonna break for no reason. However, whenever i see a fusion i do miss it.

They only cancelled this car after the 2020 MY. The refresh (this car) was already nearly done in Detroit, and the manufacture continues in China. However, in 2023 China slapped a huge tax on non-EVs, so sales dropped 50%-80% on gas powered cars.
The assembly was done in Mexico for USA, and that plant is now making other, light truck models. They could of course change directions, but they think we want CUVs and those Mock-Edsels.
How I wish there is 2024 Lincoln MKZ 😢

I just knew that they would bring back the Ford fusion. I got a 2015 I mean it does look nice the new one designates, but I prefer to have that retro style body fusion they’re more going for futuristic

Statistics show USA and Canada typically buy more SUVs than cars. My guess is the 4 seasons
@@NooDLES411911nope, it’s because of emissions laws. Manufacturers are incentivized sell you more SUVs because they have less emissions restrictions. They can price SUVs competitively against sedans because of this discrepancy. There’s also been a shift in marketing since the 70s. Before wagons used to be sold as the “family vehicle”, then it was the minivan and then finally SUVs are being marketed as the “family vehicle” despite having less room than a minivan and the same room as a wagon.

Import foreign ford cars to USA if silly customs and boarder protection says car has to be 25 years or older hire a lawyer and tell the customs and boarder protection agency that it’s an AMERICAN CAR ITS A FORD FORD IS AMERICAN BRAND I been seeing a lot of good features with American cars over seas but not as good features in the states I think all Americans have a right to import AMERICAN only brand cars overseas to USA since there are more options on American cars overseas than in USA

So glad I was able to find a low mileage 2010 Fusion Sport. Not interested in turbo, hybrid, fancy lights, or a dial for a shifter. First company to make a back-to-basics sedan is going to sell a shitload.

I can’t be the only one who has seen these in America. I live in Michigan and I’ve seen 3 over the course of 8 months. It’s confusing because I haven’t seen any advertisements for them.
They do testing in the US for foreign models as well. However, I've heard Ford is considered bringing them back. Mostly because EVs haven't taken off like they expected. They need to lower their net emissions in the US below what they currently offer.

I'm very sad that Ford stopped selling the Fusion in the US. I've owned my Fusion for over 8 years and would have snapped this one up in a heartbeat.
Hello, one thing that I really Hate about my Ford Fusion is on the ceiling between the front windshield glass and the ceiling fabric material there is a gap of about a quarter of an inch across the whole length of the windshield and you can see right in there and the ceiling fabric material has gradually came away from the ceiling and it's looks frayed and ugly. It seems to me that something is missing there like a a piece of rubber trimming or something to hold the material from coming away from the ceiling. Is your Fusion ceiling like what I'm explaining? No one seems to know if these cars were made like this, bad design or if something is missing. Thank you for reading my comment and thanks for your video!

My Ford Fusion transmission went and it was not worth fixing due to the value but it's a shame that I can't get this beautifully updated version here in the US. To be honest, Ford wasn't modernizing the inside dash of their cars like other car brands in the late 2010s which is why I think the market for its sedans declined and discontinued.
I just want full-size sedans and wagons back in the US.
