It happened to me 3 days ago with my Kia soul and report it to police. But they didn't do anything but just look at my car and made a report for my insurance. Then rhe next night right beside my house was hit too. I believe cops are too busy enforcing law to traffic violation than burglar and thieves
Didn't I see not too long ago that one of these cities is using volunteers or paid workers, not police, to deal with non-injury traffic accidents? Why can't they do the same thing with auto theft reports especially when the victim can tell you where the car is sitting? Have them collect evidence and watch for people who may interact with the stolen vehicle until an officer can be dispatched. I hope people realize these stolen cars are impacting more than just the victims. Everyone is feeling the pain of insurance prices going up.
Its so sickening. My hyndaui stolen twice within four months. Total insurance paid to fix car $8,000. $500 deductible twice. Insurance wont total the car. Getting rid of car immediately. Its dangerous and more dangerous.

They stealing the car for the parts. Also if your car been stolen twice trade it immediately. If it happens a third time insurance might not want to pay and you stuck with bill and car note. Dealing with the insurance company has been rough.
