I really don't agree with these massive attempts for the olympics, building confidence and momentum seems like the way to go, nothing is more indicative of putting up big numbers than putting up big numbers.... You can see Magistris and Imperio as well being on the brink of tears as they go up for their third attempts

Magistris with no lifts, Imperio missing two snatches before lifting the third one, similar story with Miserendino, Pizzolato not participating because of injury. Yes, there are some rising talents such as Sergio Massidda, but it seems that team Italy is falling hard.
I start low and depending how I feel in warm ups/after previous attempts will determine the next weight I lift, especially because you cant go back down :(
@@capra_88 i don't believe warm-ups work; they've never done anything for me. The more you lift, the less you can lift (through fatigue). Given that, it honestly makes sense to go for your biggest attempt on the 1st or 2nd try. If you have 2 failures, it's time to just get on the board with a weight you know is within tolerance.
@@BOZ_11 from what I believe youre saying, please feel free to correct me if I misunderstood, but you cannot just start out on the floor going cold, thats a for sure fail, and if I'm understanding what youre saying correctly, you cant just drop the weight back down from your previous attempt/s, so no, it would not make sense to go for your biggest attempt on the 1st try. like I said, depending on warming up, if you feel that you can go to an extremely high first attempt than go for it

Last couple years the Italians have been opening super heavy, and usually bombing out. Across many categories. I don’t understand it lol
@theparadisesnare They are sure training their athletes how to bomb out. It's sad to watch, and just imagine the psychological damage it is doing to many of them, having no success in competition after competition.

nop but she is roided to the gills, got caught using boldenone back in April I think, and who knows what else she is on, not to say the other athletes are natural but the fact that Italian lifters still look feminine kinda indicates they are not saucing as much.

@@BlackJesusChrist666 you also have to consider genetic predisposition to androgenic responses form PEDS, you could theoretically get 2 athletes on the same PEDS with one expressing greater androgenise features than the other

What does "if successful 1 in snatch" mean
If the lift is successful they get first place in the snatch category, so it’s about the ranking
Sometimes I think these girls should do their hair up in a bun in the back to prevent it from getting in the way of the bar. Seems like that might be messing more than a few of them up.
The one situation where a guy can probably get away with saying that a woman has: "A very nice Snatch" 😂😂😂
They should call this the “Identify as a woman 59kg European Championships”

@@onward6656 She's a woman, dude, get over it. If this were the World Championship, she would've been nowhere as dominant and would have likely been beat by the colombian and chinese lifters. Kuo's (Taipei) C&J record in this category is 140kg, full 11kg above Konotop.
