    The wife and I are going to hit up Brasstown Bald in a few weeks. We are heading over to North GA for a weekend road trip. She liked your video.
    Oh..., had lunch with Crow today and we talked about you guys’ PMT hike. Looking forward to getting you over here in Bama on the Pinhoti.

      You are going to love this view from the top. There is a more intense trail at the base called the Arkaquah Trail if you are looking for a longer hike. The paved trail is nice too but is only .6 miles but it is a great family friendly trail but is straight up. Awesome to hear that you met up with Crow for lunch. He is such a great person to hang out with. The PMT videos came out really good and can't wait to release the series next week. Definitely want to join you guys on the Pinhoti Trail. Let me know when you guys are planning to go. Cheers

      Thank you my friend for the kind words. It is a short hike to the top, but it is super intense incline. If you ever get a chance, you need to check out Yonah Mountain as it also provides a nice 360 pano shot at the top. Good times!

      KrizAkoni it’s cool to see the ridge line of the Appalachian Trail in the background from up top. I’ve been lucky to share memories with my father on several sections in Georgia. He wants to go back and do a weekend trip on the AT soon. Can’t wait! Thanks for watching and the kind words my friend!

      Thanks my friend! The weather ended up switching at the end with a slight rainstorm on the way down. Trust me, there were a lot of people that were staggering in as the day went on. We got up super early to beat the crowds that day. Thanks for watching and the kind words. Cheers!

      Thanks for watching and the kind words. We went pretty early in the day and it was on a Friday so that might be why there wasn't a lot of people. This place can get packed on the weekends. My advice is always go as early as possible to any trail or park to avoid congestion. Cheers

      Mtn Wanderer you have to make the most of every moment! This past year has taught us to take nothing for granted and to spend time with those in person or virtually as much as possible. This was his 70th birthday and we had to do something special together. These moments will last forever! Cheers!

    Go for sunset. There are bats that live in those boards. When the sun goes down there’s hundreds of bats flying around it’s very cool. Last year my wife and I hiked up for sunset after we did Tallulah Gorge and Yonah on the same day. We only had 15 minutes before sunset so we practically ran that whole 6/10 of a mile. We made it up in 9 minutes. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

    • @MetroOnTheMove
      @MetroOnTheMove  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      9 minutes? That is incredible!! You always go to the best spots at the right times. Hope we can share a hike one day but with you booking it like that I would be left in the dust. definitely want to check this place out for a sunset with my wife as well. Sounds like a great idea! Hope you guys are doing well. Cheers

      The adventures of Smalls and Talls same here. Actually have a foot injury so longer hikes are becoming very painful after 5-6 miles. Getting treatment, just have to ease back into longer hikes.

    • @MetroOnTheMove
      @MetroOnTheMove  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ruskin Seabrook Awesome! The shuttle is not in service so you have to do a small section on foot. It’s only .6 mile but will definitely slow you down. The views from the top are incredible. You will have a great time in this area as there are a ton of waterfalls and trails to check out. On the way back into town you should check out the overlook at Hogpen Gap and camp at Raven Cliff Falls. There is a bunch of free campsites passed the main trailhead.

I just ordered a Ronin S for my Canon Rebel SL2 so hopefully my clips will be more creative vs the monopod ($$$ not sure if i want to spend that but we'll see lol) I had my drone up in Miller State Park w no issues in New Hampshire..hmm..they say you couldnt fly it there?
