I make a very simple style of majge anna(Curd rice as in kannada)....cook any rice to the softest consistency then fold in some hung curd which more healthy leave it for 10 minutes as the rice absorbs curd and then add the well beaten curd give it mix not to forget the salt....this is for healthy n diet conscious people....Yes, love your style too definitely going to try this....

    1. Adding some milk with water in rice while cooking makes it more tasty
    2. Adding curry leaves crushed with salt while adding urad dal to oil is not only a great flavor adder but has good health benefits like digestion, black hair growth on scalp etc.

  • @mrsampath6

I agree. No pomegranate, grapes. Here in this clip the rice appears to be very pasty. Do not soak the rice. After the cooker is cooled down, add 2 more glass of water to rice and cook it directly in a vessel for 10 minutes. Ganji(starch) and soft rice make the curd rice tastier. Very purpose of using raw rice is for Ganji. The curry and coriander leaves may be cut to very small size so that curry leaves are consumed without wasting. We can add little finely cut zinger and Jeera also.
