Exactly, it doesn't matter if it doesn't have the most awesome graphics, gameplay is all that matters, take Wrestlemania 21 for the original Xbox for example (you may know that game or maybe not) it has great graphics but the gameplay was just horrible, these people just care about graphics.
The graphics are actually great, but it would be nice to see better mechanics such as eliminating quick recovery after getting hit with high impact moves (no selling). Some no-selling is ok if they use counter moves, but it should be limited and there should be both a fatigue bar and limitations to adrenaline recovery. Having said that, this game has a lot of potential.
Why are you complaining about the gameplay? The gameplay is good. I can understand hating on the gfx, but not the gameplay especially when compared to 2k's boring ass gameplay where you can't even stand up until your opponent attacks, lol.

My main complaints are how poorly the interact with the environment . They look like they ate floating and someone drew the ring in after . Second issue is having to lock up every few seconds .
1) That's simply because you aren't used to looking at a wrestling ring from an isometric view. There are mods on the PC for FPWW that switch the camera angle to a more tradtional WWE style viewpoint. 2) Locking up is a key part of wrestling. I'm not sure what you were expecting them to do, just stand there and punch each other for ten minutes?! Even the 2K series gameplay heavily features lockup mechanics.
@@rocketcon actually no it has nothing to do with the angle its because the awkward way their feet shuffle as they walk and yeah lock ups are part of wrestling but font happen before EVERY maneuver .

The game is fun, trust me, I have it on PC, it's intended to have a "retro" style, look, and feel to it. The exhibition matches in Fire Pro are better than exhibition matches in 2K.

I have two questions about the gameplay: 1) how do you drag the opponent (standing/ground)? 2) how do you get out of submissions?
It should be R1 to drag and you move the left stick to get out of submissions.

There are no characters in the game. You can either create them yourself or download them in-game.
