well, it would be interesting to see them play this tune LIVE. and this version - when a record plays and they just open their mouths standing by the mics - doesn't thrill me so much.
They all look very smart and polished but even though the song is pretty good, they could be anyone. Nothing definable here that sounds like the Stray Cats. Very easy on the eye, though.
This is totally a Dave Edmunds tune, with him doing the back-up vocals and the production....he helped them get their start in Britain in the late 70's...and he's a great guitarist in his own right...Setzer probably did this track as a favour to Dave..
for all you there lip singing Brian's guitar isn't plugged in either it's a video watch any video I guarantee there fingers are not making the right chords staged video
yeah they ar emuch better in blast of anf rant and rave, i think they had ot make these sort of songs ot make money, a speople in ameirca wetentinto rockabilyl like people ar ein england and japan
...oh my god...zdf fernsehgarten...it´s a german playback show for people who are 80 and older...please mr setzer, never do this again...your music is too good for this kind of shit...
This looks like the last gasp just before they broke up for the last time. Their worldwide fame was fading then & I guess they let themselves get talked into this schlopp - geeze - Brian plays anything non-Gretsch it just looks wrong -I'm the BIGGEST Stray Cats fan but this is bad in so many ways -they even look embarrassed for themselves in the video -
Aber was soll's.
can't get enough of this song, kicks ass!
What can I say about the kings of rockabilly the greatest rockabilly band in the universe. Yes the legendary Stray Cats. Go go cats. ❤
This was SC at their most potent...Setzer is one of my top 10 guitarists of all time...
My favorite Stray Cat song from Choo Choo Hotfish CD. Let him RIP. Great message.
Wie geil is das denn , bitte ? Unglaublich! Ich bin echt geflasht. Super-gut!

This is a cut from a TV appearance. Keep looking up versions of this song on TH-cam.
people watching the fernsehgarten are usually much too old for this great kind of music!
Long live rock'n'roll!
totally overlooked Stray Cats song.
Agree with Russ Salo. When I loved the stray cats they had this british almost punk feel

Not like it but don’t hate it what I’m looking at is different ways of playing the guitar and sounds
Dave Edmunds never played a Gretsch like this man!

I'm still not sure if this video was 'sloppy/cool' or 'sloppy/annoying', but I enjoyed the song...
for all you there lip singing Brian's guitar isn't plugged in either it's a video watch any video I guarantee there fingers are not making the right chords staged video
Who cares, great music love it.
there are enough live versions of almost all their songs on YT to know they are totally able to kick your and anybody else ass on a stage

I don´t like the sound of the band in "Choo choo hot fish". I prefer the way they sound in "Blast Off".
...oh my god...zdf fernsehgarten...it´s a german playback show for people who are 80 and older...please mr setzer, never do this again...your music is too good for this kind of shit...
