Love them wonderfully 💖. It was a little distraction with the security person flanking the video stage while they were performing. No 👎 respect bro'. ... .

The best 2 weeks that I had enjoyed hosting these wonderful Delegates. I had and will cherish there gifts that a member of this group had returned before we closed and on our way. They prefer to leave “Easter Island” behind and be called by their real name Rapa Nui. Since 2017 the official name of the island is Rapa Nui.

Iorana, yes, they were "at the brink of extintion"... but she forgot to mention that it was the Chilean government which put an end to the slaving expeditions that came from Peru... she also forgot to mention that Rapa Nui and the marine park Motu Motiro Hiva are an integral part of Chile, and that Rapa Nui islanders are "privileged" citizens that do not pay taxes and have many other advantages... And who paid for transporting such a huge delegation? perhaps the Chilean government? (it means our money, from us all) and we did not even got to see the Chilean flag besides the one from Rapa Nui... is this respectful? I do not think so, and as a chilean citizen I will expose my concern to the authorities. As an archaeologist I know the history of Polynesia (Micronesia & Melanesia) quite well and have many arguments to back my viewpoints, I am also very familiar with "minority" rights issues and cultural relativism, so I do not get seduced by the light discourse about "identity" and "rights" that permeates the mainstream optics, and besides I love this common heritage we have, all nations from the South Pacific...

Because Rapa Nui is Māohi not Chiliean Pinochi lead government it’s call Colonisation before any colonised super power came it was not Easter Island it was called “Rapanui” Chile should finance it it’s what most Colonialism country should repay what they took away from the true people of “Rapanui”
