I loved Matilda so much. I also loved James and the Giant Peach, which was an escapist book for me.. and a few books from the Redwall series. A few other favorites were Indian in the Cupboard and The Farthest Away Mountain (both by the same author) but I haven’t read those in decades. Edit: I also enjoyed Boxcar Children.
this is your parents house right? I'm coming back in few days for holidays and I'm gloomy like every year. The good part is that I'll see my cat and my dog!
Hello & Good Morn., If you like mice, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh, by Robert C. O'Brien (there is a movie) The Tale of Despereaux, by Kate. Dicamillo (there's a movie) and Redwall, by Brian.Jaques (there is an animated cartoon series) are my favorite. I just watched the Matilda movie and it's ok compared to the book. Oh and for no reason at all, I like the Sherlock Hound cartoon series ☺️
little prince, Jonathan the seagull, enid Blyton....but my favorites were the greek "five kids lost in space", an also greek book that described technological achievement through the eras and other knowledge and of course greek mythology.....i forgot many other other books that i don't remember because i'm old aged , as a series of books with pictures mostly about ancient civilizations and three beautiful books about chess (and i still forget many!!!)....btw , you inspire me a lot even if we have an age gap...be well and be careful....outside of our homes and family without Jesus's Love protecting us , a jungle awaits!!!kisses!!!
