Aidan Glew Yep, wished we'd stuck with the decision to ditch GM entirely. Completely unnecessary, especially when you can fill your ground regularly and they'll generate their own noise & atmosphere. Used to be embarrassing playing Bellini's Samba De Janeiro, a godawful synthetic chart dance version from 1997 (when there were better, more organic versions released at that time) long into the next century. So we finally get round to updating it in the mid 2010s ...with another godawful synthetic chart dance release from 2001!! Planet Funk's Chase the Sun sounded rubbish back then, rubbish when they used it for the darts on Sky and rubbish now we've dragged it back. It's vocal is far too high pitched for anyone to sing along to at the footy ffs!

thelovwoman There's the advantage of a seat at the back of the Jarrold for you! And whilst you're waiting for it to drop back down you can admire the view of the city over the City stand! Used to sit in the Barclay and have to shield my eyes from the sun and do a bit of perspective bending guesswork for action up the River End, but now I'm older and less inclined to beer it up and give the away end aggro, I far prefer the lofty, analytical view pretty much on the halfway line (can see down the players' entrance 'tunnel'). Good workout climbing the steps too!

I have to agree with that, Sears was the only decent player for us that game. I dunno why McCarthy went with that tactic since we are a team that can play football. I guess with McGoldrick and Bishop out injured we didnt really have any skillful players on the ball
