I think both the 2005 series and this one are about equal. I think the story and characters are handled better in the 2005 series and the action and atmosphere are handled better in the OVA.
Agreed, half of the entire reason i think we watch manga in the 1st place is the grit and animation style. The new version was so diluted and clean, like they tried to make it a kids show. The quality in art direction was terrible! And while the story was much broader they'd given up the key component to any great manga ( i know it's called anime, but manga sounds better) series the quality of the animation.

How could it possibly take the creators 250 MILLION years to bioengineer an ideal weapon when they've already developed the bio-booster armour? What is this weapon FOR? Are they immortal, and if so, who would they need to develop humans as a weapon to fight against when they can travel the stars and create the Guyver? Why not just change themselves to respond more effectively to the G-unit so they have the power? It's wonderfully told but makes zero logical sense.
I wonder, what if Sho never found the G-Unit, and the Zoanoid that originally stole the G-Units made his delivery as he intended. Was Agito planning on making the first G-Zoanoid with Malmot? Would Malmot be cured of his radiation infection by the G-Unit? If Masaki Murakami came around in this altered reality, would Agito equipped him with a G-Unit, and what would a Proto-G-Zoaload look like?

Just use the Bio-Booster cannon on them all! This needs an old 2 player video game! It could be awesome. Guyver and Spawn could both have amazing multiplayer games.
This is scarily accurate. The men process the truth about Zoanoids calmly and rationally while the teenage girl throws hysterics and makes it all about HER.
The girl whining about not wanting to accept that humans were created as alien weapons... Oh how the technology has degraded over the years... lol And Guyver 3 fighting to the end to save this group...
