Between the years 2010 - 2012, the NBA probably had their most athletic years in NBA history. Blake, Westbrook, LeBron, Wade, Rose, Howard, Amar'e and more were at their peaks. Just pure explosiveness, power, speed, domination, if you wanted those qualities, you would always look to that very little small raw, talented era.
This all star game alone was an example of how both Kobe and Lebrons mentality was from a clutch winning stand point, when Kobe was playing that good defense on Lebron, he choked at the last minute 😂😂😂
I'm re-watching this as of March 4th 2023. I wish all the NBA allstar games were like this, a perfect combination of high scoring, exciting plays, and a very close score at the end.
Watching this after 2024 ASG........and I'd rather watch this a million times before the 2024 game again. They still had drive and intensity coming to the end of the game, they were playing to win. Well except LeBoring passing up the clutch shot. MJ and Kobe (RIP) should be the goat discussion: End of Story. I'm just so grateful I got to see Kobe play live during the Playoffs and win in LA.....driving down the middle of the lane for a dunk I still see in highlights. Grown up watching this game and its a shadow of its former brilliance.

MJ or Kobe is taking that ball and shooting a mid range jumper or drawing 2 defenders and passing out instead of passing up from the top of the key. Theres levels to the game and Lebron will never be at the same as MJ or Kobe was.
