Very interesting! You dance near my own concern yet we may say it a little differently. The Awareness of Shiva, which I call Kali, is a primordial magnetic field. The awareness has a magnetic basis, is wordless and real. You speak of the dominance of external identity and this dominance is the bindings of Fenrir. They are choking the internal to death, and the media has supplanted the magnetic awareness with an electric awareness, thus the consciousness - which is masculine - lay in a bed of illusion, more electric. This is why the world is lost! I am one of the extreme cases you mentioned - I am functionally schizophrenic from embracing the Mother. Turbulent. Yet I have great vision on what's wrong, at the cost of my externalized identity, which I destroyed with glee, malice, and bliss.
