Lzzy Hale is one of the sweetest, most down to earth, cool people you could ever hope to meet
I believe that!!
I have seen Halestorm live several times, and they sound amazing live. This song is much longer live with a great solo section at the end. And Lzzy has such an phenomenally powerful voice. Lzzy and her brother Arejay on drums have been playing together since she was 13 and he was 11. They entered a small town Pennsylvania talent show with their dad playing bass and Lzzy playing a keytar. I've seen the video footage. Check out Black Vultures, Break In (featuring Amy Lee from Evanescensce), Do Not Disturb, and Love Bites (So Do I).

I hear you, seen them live 3 times, Amen and I Miss the Misery were huge jams each time, going around 8 to 12 minutes each time. PinkPop 2016 is my favorite set on You Tube for them, remarkable show similar to what I saw the first time.
4 times for me.
They are absolutely killer in concert , as well.

It's a double-necked guitar - usually one is 6-string and one is 12-string (see Jimmy Page in Led Zeppelin) - look at the number of tuning knobs on the head of each guitar neck. You could also have two six-strings with the two sets of strings tuned differently...The Warning, the sister trio from Monterrey, Mexico, fronted Halestorm on the US tour last year and Lzzy gave Daniela a guitar

Halestorm are amazing, there are a few great ones to recommend - I miss the Misery, love bites (so do i), dear daughter, break in (featuring Amy Lee of Evanesence)

When the song came out in 2015, I was surprised to hear it on the local rock station, this one and their song 'Amen'. Surprised, because they almost NEVER play anything less than 30 years old! But that was the album that really introduced me to them.
For something on the softer side by them, there's 'Dear Daughter', a message from mother to daughter. 'The Reckoning' is a song that promises bloody vengeance. 'Familiar Taste of Poison' is a beautiful slower song. 'Terrible Things' from their newest album is another slow one.

I saw Halestorm in 2012 with Godsmack and Staind and I'd never heard of them so we got there halfway through the set. We could hear her screaming from outside.
I see Halestorm everytime they come to Pittsburgh, they sound great live. Lzzy is an absolute sweetheart to meet and a caring person.
When you start bobbing and weaving your head, then that beautiful Smile comes out, THATS why I love your reactions. Yes Lizzy is beyond awesome, but really Maddy, with tons of love, and respect, your smile could light up a stadium. You truly ROCK!!❤️🎸🎸
Lzzy’s Double neck guitar is a Gibson SG Double neck with standard neck on top and Baritone on the bottom. The idea is that the Baritone side caters for heavier sounds as it’s tuned lower than the standard neck.
Interesting fact: Lzzy gifted Daniela from The Warning a new Custom Gibson Explorer because it was a “pay on”. Lzzy got gifted one earlier in her career by a famous Guitarist because she inspired him; the understanding was that she would do the same thing at the right time. When Halestorm took The Warning with them and Pretty Reckless to North America and Canada she was inspired by Daniela so gave her the guitar.

Lzzy is a force of nature when you see them live! I had to see them to see if she was for real, and I was pleasantly surprised she's even more powerful in person! Halestorm is such is a great band! Her brother is the drummer, btw.

Great song and the tip of the iceberg with Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, they have a bunch of great songs. Try I Miss the Misery, a studio classic that takes on a life of its own live, jamming out to 8 to 12 minutes with special guitar interplay, Lzzy wields that guitar like she means it, going at it with Joe Hottinger. They are well worth a deep dive, Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶

Usually it's a 12 string and 6 string, some examples are Jimmy Page during Stairway to Heaven, The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song at Madison Square Garden in '73, Slash in November Rain, Glen Frey on Hotel California to name a few.

*Not really. Because the number of strings are not the same. The upper neck has 12 strings and the lower neck the normal 6. Also there can be other combinations like the upper neck six-string and the lower neck bass-guitar. Fretless guitar and regular fretted guitar or any other combination of guitar neck and pickup styles. There are also acoustic versions.* 🎸🎵
*Two necks with the same number of strings don't make any sense. The idea is that the guitarist can play 2 different guitars at the same time without losing too much time that a switch could cause...* 🎵 🎸 🎸🎵
Lzzy said in an interview a few years back that the Gibson double neck with similar 6 string necks are tuned differently, I wonder if the strings might be different on the 2 necks as well. Golden Earrings bass player uses a double neck bass, both are bass guitars but one neck is longer than the other, try Radar Love or Twilight Zone live and see what I mean.
