It's like how Neuvilette is supposed to be Neuvi after the 4.2 archon quest, even though he released in 4.1, which we know because he calls himself a fully fledged dragon in his final ascension voiceline

@@CO-Archie-AL I think they're talking about the fact that this is her first ascension voiceline. If you pulled for her first and ascended her to at least level 20/40 before playing the archon quest and her story quest, it's a huge spoiler.

@@nothmm8582they are canon but in a weird way. It's canon in the sense that if that stuff happened (ascending/teapot) then they would say those things canonically. Same with how traveler doesn't canonically become best friends with everyone to hear their voice lines, but what voice lines say is still canon in terms of information, but not how it was given to the traveler if at all.

Furina originally had bubbles and glowing hair in the Beta. Hoyo removed it.

Said by foçalors: Furina is the body and spirit of Foçalors, I am the divinity. Basically if you fuse Foçalors and Furina you get the hydro archon, in reality both are an incomplete version. The "Foçalors" that spoke with Neuvillete is only the divinity and Furina is the body and the spirit. Ironically Furina is closer to the archon than Foçalors since Furina took 2 things that made up the archon (the body and the spirit) while Foçalors only the divinity.

This arke element gives them this ability. Or just only new characters can do this because they may have a model that differs in some way from the old ones, so they have this ability, we need to wait for the new characters from Liyue in 4.4 to find out whether it's lore or gameplay.

Actually it was spoiled in the Teyvat Chapter before Genshin was even released; when it says Act 4 (not 5 because Mondstadt is for some reason Prologue) it says Masquerade of the Guilty which happens to be the name of Act V, it also says the Hydro Archon seeks to judge all other Archons but even she knows not to challenge the Divine meaning Celestia and Focalor's deception plan. A friend also told me during Inazuma someone already accurately predicted Fontaine's plot.

This is a whole bigass misconception. She is the hydro archon, but with the divinity and archonhood stripped away by none other than herself. She is Focalors in flesh. Think of zhongli and remove all of his divine power, that's the same with Furina.

If you have constructive analysis, it's very simple to understand that
Furina is a human that Focalors formed out of an oceanid and was able to live for 5 centuries only because Focalors prevented her from aging like a normal human being(cursed)
It is really similar to how Ei made Scaramouche except he wasn't made human rather a puppet/vessel for the gnosis(failed)
Focalors made Furina as a decoy and never had divinity in the first place (only made to "act" as an archon). Focalors only made Furina in her own image, what she think she'd look like as a human being. Focalors did not split herself into two, she made a sentient human being inspired from her own self. Also, Furina is a visionless human for 500 years so what makes you think that she has the divine seat of an archon to begin with?

The vision symbol above their head is there for every character with a vision. Furina didn’t have a vision before, so she did not have one in her splash art. (I overlooked tons of things very sorry!)

How about ei? The character we play is a robot (lack of breath in dragonspine) but she still have archon symbol in splash art and archon special effect in team set up.
Ei controls the puppet body when she is out of her plane, she doesn't have her own body anymore.
The sword is Ei's real body. The Shogun is entrusted to it, to assume the full responsibilities of the electro archon in Ei's absence. Any archon powers granted to Ei might naturally flow through the (bless her majesty) Shogun.

Even more than that, it's her name which spoiled us. Focalors, pronounced Fo-sa-lor, is heard in French "fausse, alors". It means "fake, then".
So basically, when Furina said "I, Focalors, the hydro archon", she clearly said that she is not the true archon.
(And I precise that it's not invented bullsh*t. I'm French, so I can guarantee that it's true.)
But the real Focalors is still pronounced the same way.

Relying on pronunciation is also a bad option because each dub pronounces her name differently, though i wont lie the en pronounciation lining up with translating to False-Then is pretty coincedental, i believe in the JP dub they pronounce it with a hard C, like Focal, whichd line up more with the Latin origins of her name, as with most archons she is named after one of the greater demons, Morax, Barbatos, Beelzebub, Focalors

The authority of hydro has been returned to the dragon soveirgn. Right now we have SIX archons. We are down one.

Interms of lore Hoyoverse ate and left no crumbs Furina isn the true archon but the body of an archon who focalors created from her divinity and used Furina to deceive the heavenly principles in order to prevent the result of the prophecy regarding fontaine (Prophecy: “That all people from Fontaine are born with sin that cannot be absolved; one day, the waters of Fontaine will rise and the sinful people will all be dissolved into the waters, and only the Hydro Archon will remain, weeping on her throne- only then will the sins of the people be washed away” from becoming permanent reality.
She was become an actress playing the archon. But since Focalors died so it means Furina's archon ability is gone but thanks to sovereign vision she has a power like an archon.

Bc of this a curse was brought upon Fontaine by the Heavenly Principles to flood by the primordial sea and undo what Egeria did.. However; Egeria during her final times (not sure what happened to her) she passed down her Archonhood to Focalors as her successor.. Focalors thought long and hard about how to undo the terrible fate casted upon Fontaine.. So Focalors seperated her divinity from her physical body & named it Furina. (the reason everyone can get dissolved is bc they never were human- they all were Oceanid as it shown when they did get dissolved and Navia got to experience it first hand) Focalors gave Furina the task of pretending to be Focalors herself to deceive the Heavenly Principles that their so called punishment plan was going through as intended. Focalors gave Neuvillette his powers back (Gnosis contained a portion of power from the 7 dragons) & Neuvillette was the one to dispel the curse casted upon Fontaine by turning all the Oceanids to OFFICALLY HUMAN so they don't get dissolved by the primordial sea. Everyone that didn't get dissolved was then confused & thought the prophecy was wrong.. (in reality it was correct and very real- but it was negated). I truly didnt wanna spoil the whole thing but here it is..

She comes from the original focalor/ her whole form before separated, and thus only know the said Prophecy before ascended, she was technically herself without the memories of when or after she Ascended. By Saying she was never an archon is contradicting that she never was focalor.

other thing that spoiled it, and i seem to be the only one to notice, is that, every time you use an archon skill or ult, their hair or a piece of attire glow, and it happen with every archon, and that also happened with neuvillet since his release, and after i got furina before doing the archon quest, i noticed that none of her attire , or hair glow with her skills, wich also just confirmed that she wasnt the archon

the more that you think about it, its amazing Furina Vision is basically first ever Dragon Sovereign vision. which makes her extra special, also the fact that she has both Osia and Pnuma mode. she maay not have the classic archon glowing hair BUT! design wise she do has Glowing part which is Neuvillete fins on her back.

@@Monster4Rex The problem is how Genshin is using the concepts of ousia and pneuma (and Furina's design) against its own plot.
To someone who knows what those words mean, the obvious thing to think is that they fused together, not that they separated.
The term ousia (οὐσία) is an Ancient Greek noun, and means essentia or substantia. Pneuma (πνεῦμα) meant something like spirit or soul.
If I remember correctly, the idea was that once you died, you split into three: the body that will rot, the pneuma or soul that will leave for the beyond maybe entering a reincarnation process, and the ousia that would remain for a while and what did that iteration of yourself, you. Ghosts are supposedly, just ousia.
It fits oceanids because they are beings that don't have a real body. They are only personalities with more or less individualism.
Furina's design has all of them: a body, ousia and pneuma.
The normal conclusion would be that she has the pneuma/soul of Foçalors, the ousia/ego of Furina, and a body that both share.
But then the plot tries to say otherwise? Wtf were they smoking when they designed her?

But raiden Shogun we play isn't the archon either. You can check it when you go to dragonspine. When normal chars breathe in dragonspine, their breath is visible, but it's not the same with raiden, she doesn't breathe.

Ei doesn't have a physical body. So she borrows the puppet body from time to time. From her voicelines you can tell it's both Ei and Shogun. Also the Shogun directly rules over Inazuma, is worshipped as the archon, has Ei's power and she's somewhat of a fully fledged god herself.

The Shogun actually wields the electro archon's divine power though. She was the vessel designed to 100% handle Ei's archon responsibilities including combat.
Furina was by design divorced from the hydro archon's divine power. She was a stand in for Focalors but the real work was always done by others.

There’s some other things that tipped me off besides this, I predicted it before I finished the archon quest. It made it easier because I had Furina though.
1. Furina’s playable version has a vision, while she doesn’t in the story quest. She would also have no reason to have a fake vision because she’s not hiding an archon identity, instead it’s the opposite
2. I was looking at her locked voice lines, and she had absolutely none of them about the other archons while the rest of the archons do. They’re all just about other Fontaine characters, however Neuvillette has voice lines about the archons…
Those aren’t really spoilers though, just hints and foreshadowing. An ACTUAL spoiler is the new Roses and Muskets event, it completely spoils the archon quest to players that haven’t done it yet since it isn’t quest locked…

The spoilers have been around all the way since she was first leaked with a hydro vision. I still love her though and she’s the closest to a playable Focalors in the game! I believe she also still has the archon eye glow effect when she bursts.

No. You are wrong. The symbol at the top of the circle is in every character, not just archons, and Hoyo didn't add it because the spoiler wasn't that she's not an archon but if she is Oussia or Pneuma, which resulted to be both.
