Tour of Ybor City the Cigar Capital of the World

Tour of Ybor City the Cigar Capital of the World right here in Tampa, Florida. Ybor City holds a unique place in Florida’s social and economical history as our state’s “first industrial town.” The founding of this community in 1886 was based on what turned out to be a very shrewd “business decision” by Don Vicente Martinez-Ybor to move his cigar factory from Key West to Tampa.

Downtown on 7th Avenue Handbag Adventures thank you so much. Tampa has some amazing things. Ybor City is named after a man who moved his cigar factory to Tampa from Key West many years ago. Which got ybor City it’s start and growth with cigar factories.

Cable cars are operated by a cable that propells the car along..This ybor city trolley car is electrically powered and us controlled by an overhead wire called a catinary...fyi...nice video..
