I think the input for this radio is 4.5v and the output of that power bank is 5v. Will it cause any problem because of +0.5V? I am willing to use a power bank on my icf-2010 as well.
@@egoya yes some has negetive centre polarity some sony models had positive. I was just worried about the voltage. I read last night that the 4.5v inputs used to have a voltage tolerance limit between 4.5v-5.5v so it’s nice that i would stop paying for those batteries now.
Using the sony 4.5 dc adaptor is much safer for this radio because of its delicate circuits. Apart from the rectifiers, the adapter has an electrolytic and a ceramic capacitor which keep the current pure d.c. So to be safe , I use the proper sony 4.5 v.d.c. adaptor for my icf-2010 radio.
Any nicely regulated 4.5 DC should be fine.. Shouldn't really matter as long as there is no rectification needed from a power bank rather it requires good regulation.
One of the best radios; I have one too. 73 from Barcelona, Spain.
Thank you. It's my life partner. :)

No problem at all. Use 5V Power. :)
@@ArapanPramanik Be careful of the polarity.
