You can imagine how flabbergasted I was when I learned the animations weren’t some clientsided random animations, this demo is already a few steps ahead
I never knew about this until i saw some videos about it. I just chose blueberry at the start when i was messing with the settings and moved on. The effort put into this game is insane

See I was confused why my animations suddenly changed when I was going from plain, to mint, and to blueberry. I'm glad this helped me realize. (Im going back to mint)
i don't think ive seen anyone say this but blueberry, orange and grape are all styles from yakuza. Blueberry = Brawler style, Orange = Beast style and Grape = Breaker style or Rush style idk
Apple flavor for some reason reminds me of Mario and Luigi when you chose and option and your about to attack lol 0:40 And also Luigi’s dance at 0:31 I don’t know why, but I love it! This game is great.
when i first started, my brother has the rose flavor equipped and i thought he had some card equipped to make him jump. i always thought he was “jumping for joy”😭
This makes so much sense. I was wondering why I noticed a difference in the animations during combat after changing my colors. It just never clicked in my head for some reason
I love the fact that Mint, Apple and Coal are idle animations from Mario & luigi Bowser's inside story I wish there was an iddle animation with paper mario's animation tho
plain: chilling, calm mint: ready and still preparing to throw hands, joyful apple: agile hands, goes with the flow banana: might jump on you man 😭 seems to have energy flowing as a whole orange: perserving energy, very angry rose: having fun, excited about fighting, probably has good kicks grape: confident, defensive chocolate: thinks they have an upper hand since they're flying but they're just tiring themselves coal: on the move, good for punches blueberry: can probably dodge VERY easily, really agile
Back after the Demo 2 Update. Menu Flavors and Animation Flavors are now separate so that you can choose your favorite Menu Flavor and favorite Animation. Huge W.
this video doesnt show all flavours, theres two more. you get to use the club animation if you have premium, its baby blue if i remember correctly. there is also gold, which you get for donating. its just a more orange yellow. personally club is the best animation

Orange has a much more serious tone and I like that. It’s also my favorite color. Tho, I like chocolate cuz.. it’s chocolate first of all, second because he floats. That’s pretty awesome.

I’m so proud of me!”* The silliest one of the flavor Classes,he always pranks everyone,tells jokes, and does silly acts! And if these pranks are used correctly, they can also be deadly! Due to his foolish nature,Everyone calls him by the nickname “The Prankmaster”. He is a All rounder Class,being able to use his pranks to pummel his foes, and support his allies! Banana peel:eat a banana,gaining 5 sp and leave the peel in front of you,if an enemy tries to melee you, they will slip and fall,dealing 7 damage and making them dizzy for 4 turns! Flying enemies will not slip on the peel. Pied: throw a pie at an ally,dealing 1 damage but applying a random buff for 4 turns! (If it’s attack or defense, it’s raised by 4) if you have no allies,throw it at an enemy instead,doing 5 damage. Prank swap:Swap to a different attack.
The flavores ad a really cool effect to the game tbh well i chose mint becuse green its my favorite color and i dint know it changed animation (p.s i think the mint and apple animation are mario and luigi ones)

Also also, never knew fast travel existed until I beated the king. So I actually pulled a sisyphus and kept walking back and forth between main locations.
the colour changes the colour of ur nametag too! edit: in demo 2 u can choose both menu flavour (changes menu colours and nametag) and animation flavour (these and some others: gold (any donation) and club! (premium membership) )
my overall thoughts on the animations, not like you guys care anyway plain looks overly confident no need to talk about mint and apple, ill just leave the others with this one banana feels groovy i'm not talking about rose either grape gives off the confident, but at the same time wants to get over with it vibe orange, blueberry, and coal both look like they are wanting a fight

It's confirmed cards will change your victory/thinking animations in the future, that's why the flavors don't change the victory/thinking animations.
