So you got the part FYI in 24 years you'll still be doing these films but with a funny red guy oh and yeah they keep going...till you're 90 at least so see you Monday!
The two stand out performances in the original X-Men movie at least for me was Hugh and Ian McKellen. Wolverine was hostile and defensive, and it took him the entire movie to warm up to the rest of the X-Men. I loved this abt his writing bc it is such a critical part of his character and result of Weapon X. His scene with Rogue in the truck is hands down one of my absolute favorite scenes. And Ian, as Magneto was just visceral and compelling. A holocaust survivor, who has seen and survived the absolute worst humanity can offer, is now recast in the role of a person with immense power, enough to wield and now dictate the fate of many. Its like he's on a train track, and no matter what he does, he cannot deviate from the path he's on. the cycle of violence in his past is only going to repeat itself as he himself embodies the same atrocities he lived through. the quintessential human experience and we as the audience can only watch in terror - bc we UNDERSTAND him.

Bryan Singer: I'm putting together a team of people with special abilities. See I believe a bigger enemy is coming and....
Hugh Jackman: Stop right there, I'm in.
here from Logan anyone?
LanceAlot Ent. this is gonna get a ton of view just because of the Logan trailer.
LanceAlot Ent. i really hope they dont recast a wolverine. No one can play wolverine after hugh jackman
sure someone can. people just won't accept it until they get used to the idea.
LanceAlot Ent. yeah..watched the film times
It doesn’t feel like auditioning, it feels like Logan just talking about himself.
now watching this audition made me realize how broody and heavy Hugh sounds in 2024.
This guy is so good you know he is perfect for the role.
This footage is crazy to see now, i was obsessed w/ the first X-Men movie when it came out, and grew up watching the 90s cartoon. Coming back after Logan and Deadpool & Wolverine, seeing this first footage of Hugh mulling the character over in this audition....i can't describe the feeling it puts in me. Just thankful for this man and how he played this beloved character for so many years ❤
Damn he was so young
What's crazy is this didn't even get him the part. A scheduling conflict meant we got this amazing man
he has puppy eyes
HUGH JACKMAN SHOULD BE THE NEW INDIANA JONES
Damn, history being created here. They don't even know it.
This guy looks very promising, if he gets this role it will be a success.
at 1:18 I thought claws were going to come out :3
Nature Made Me A Freak.
Man Made Me A Weapon.
God Made It Last Too Long...
THANK YOU! I´ve heard about this clip and wanted to see it a long time! He´s so beautiful it´s almost unbearable to watch him... It´s interesting to see it when we all know what a success the movies have been and what a STAR he is today!
The way he says "Forest".
This man is so immensely talented
Hey guys! Great news! He got the part!
he's sooo hooot makes me wanna go to australia...
Anyone here 2024 after
DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE
So you got the part FYI in 24 years you'll still be doing these films but with a funny red guy oh and yeah they keep going...till you're 90 at least so see you Monday!
Cool 17 years, Hugh...
"I can't even show you the scars from all the times I've tried to kill myself." 😭😭
the man...the myth....the motherfucking legend.
its just awesome, we love u Hugh
He was 30 here. Little did he know... beginning of the next 60 years...
You never know what life hides for you
The two stand out performances in the original X-Men movie at least for me was Hugh and Ian McKellen.
Its like he's on a train track, and no matter what he does, he cannot deviate from the path he's on. the cycle of violence in his past is only going to repeat itself as he himself embodies the same atrocities he lived through. the quintessential human experience and we as the audience can only watch in terror - bc we UNDERSTAND him.
he was born to be the Wolverine
He's so hot
Who came after watching LOGAN
❤❤❤
