This is a good learning video as she explains what nerve areas in the foot affect and connect with the other muscles and organs of the body. Excellent! This instructor needs to have her own tv show! I'd watch this over "The View" and "american idolatry" any day.

When you say that if someone is pregnant there are some areas you shouldn't massage on the foot, why is that? I'm pregnant, and this massage looks soooo relaxing and helpful for headaches and backaches. :)
What's so interesting about massage videos is that the way the mind functions allows the brain to replenish neurons which in turn develop brain cells into becoming more plentiful for processing this deep sensation which cause our nerve endings to stimulate our hair follicles to.. oh no I've gone cross-eyed.

i think they're supposed to be labor-inducing points, though i honestly don't know how much stock to really put into that... but what do i know?
Because the ankles tend to swell during pregnancy, and most types of massage would be pretty painful.
@silentscreams001 it used to bug me too when people made comments too stupid to even be considered a decent argument, but I realised by trying to reason with them I was only getting irritated myself. If they want to insult people and swear for no reason that's their choice, just be glad you're better than that and leave them to it.

reflexology may be a total hoax, but that foot massage is still awesome looking. If she offered to give me a foot massage if i agreed to listen to her talk about reflexology, i would totaly take that.
@RossGella4Eva west coast or pennsylvania/ohio/illinois/indiana area. she doesn't have a drawl like southerners or lack of Rs like new england or louisiana

Wait, what was the reason to not massage the back ankle points on a pregnant woman? I didn't get that part and watched it twice. I understand not to, but what is that reason? Does it have something to do with the nerve of the baby?

@Tulanirebe neither am i, but then again there are starving children everywhere (well yes more in africa) and anyway her house in africa is really big, and she was never in poverty in ghana she went to a private boarding school and had a good education, there are starving children in england and america too, you see them on the streets!

No. The area for pregnant women is contraindicated because it can possibly induce labor. If you're not full term, it could potentially cause problems. On the other hand, it can be helpful for menstruating women as the ankle and heel are related to reproductive organs. ; )
even if the reflexology talk is bs, I would a) still take the massage, and b) have Lita read me bedtime stories.
i wish i had her for my foot injury from basketball, i wouldve probably healed alot faster than it did.
