I remember playing the heck out of this game in the early 2000s! I would always play this game before I had to go to school every morning. For a game made in 1999, it was to me very realistic during the time.

Same. I haven’t played this game in years. I remember being just 6 when this game first came out. And as soon as I started playing it, I had my grandfather to thank for inspiring me to learn about the history of trains, including trying to play some of the jobs in the later levels of the game.
The tutorials to me kinda foreshadow the difficulties of each job. How to drive a train=caboose washer Loads and deliveries=hobo bouncer Semaphores=grease monkey Special tracks=fire stoker Natural disasters=whistle blower
In the first job when you couple the caboose too fast it goes "You were going too fast to safely couple with the caboose. If this happened during the game, you could receive a time penalty or you might even have to start the job over."
@@dominicpassantecontaldi8978 And because it even happened to me as a little kid with no clue what I was doing at some of the jobs more in the middle of the game, I remember learning if you don’t get a time penalty for speeding dangerously to couple a train or you hit some buffers, then that’s a fender bender.
I owned the non deluxe version but I had a though time trying to get it recordable with OBS, the deluxe takes the ease. I ever wanted to make a series of this game since I play and make videos of Train Simulator. I would try to put it on a VM someday. Both versions works well with Windows 10. This is a download and I got it from oldpcgaming.

I had got it from a website that I'm not going to name but I had the non-deluxe version on disk which leads into complications trying to record that one due to lack of windowed mode.

Is this the original disc or did you download it from somewhere? If so, where, and how did you get it to work?

An opinion: I wish that there was a Track maker and other Trains from different Countries to the game, like Trainz though 2D.
There is a track maker. Although, I kinda wish there WERE different country based trains.

Why is it that the uploader, of these videos, doesn't have the music on?
I had them off just for copyright reasons but there are on my compilation for background music.
