I love this video, every time I watch it it reminds me of an approach to Kai Tak in a RAF VC10 in 1974 during the monsoon season. Different planes but the turbulance was much the same. Cheers for sharing Sfakman.

I landed at Heathrow at 5 in the morning, BEAUTIFUL! You really get an idea at how big London is. Very exciting for a first timer in London. Want to go back right now ! :(

wow,really cool video and nice smooth landing as well,i have traveled with many airlines and in diff types of planes,some of them are A380,A340,A330,747,777,737, between A380 and 747 i liked the 747,cant forget that flight of 747,A380 is good too.
I did 2 early morning landings to Heathrow. Will be doing another one soon. I'm so tired during this part of the flight wish I could just go to sleep on the plane after an overnight flight.
I get asked this quite alot :) I simply pressed the camera up against the window and held my hand as steady as I could. The un-edited video goes on for about 20 minutes. My arm was killing me!

flyign with emirates from heathrow to dubai in the summer hols! First time on a 9 hour fligh! Longest ive been ona plane for is 4 hours!

I loved this video since the first day i saw it in FL350, but i always wondered why did u modify it with that music, it kinda ruined the video imo.
I love landing in 747's, they sort of float onto the ground.
