  • Homemade transom wheel which can be removed for ease of packing when you are done with boat.

    Great idea!! Have you used these with an outboard installed? My 9.9 weighs about 60lbs and wonder if the 25mm tubing could bend when hitting a hole.

      Hi. Yeah I’ve used it with my 1982 8hp Yamaha on over some pretty rough terrain and it’s seems to be holding up just fine. You could alway upscale the tubing size or use 25mm with a thicker wall.

    Great video. What size bolts did you use. Did you use any silicone to seal up the holes?

      I use M8 316 stainless bolts. Yes I used marine silicone front and back to seal.

    very nice. you like the swing-action but let us try to disconnect the wheels and place them in a lower position when they are up !!??

      They are called pto clips. I got them from a hardware store but I think takealot might sell them
