Good to hear from you Tim! The rig looks great. I'm glad to see things are going well for you. The shop and the equipment looks very professional. Much luck to you. Keep the videos coming!
Looking at making the same rig! How you like it? I want something small for the streets of SoCal. I run a pool service company too and have SH all the time and can get it in 15gal carboys
Hey Tim thanks for the video very nice I have a small transit myself looking to do the same thing, how do you tie down your tanks and equipment or material to use thanks again
I have the Norwesco tank straps that are designed for the 35 gallon tank. Everything is bolted to the wood skid. Make sure to use fender washers for extra strength.
Hello, great instructional video... question tho :) i have same honda 13hp and some AR sh*** 4gpm pump... how does your motor handle that pump since it says from 16hp-19hp is recomanded for that pump? All the best
Thank you! I’ve since decided to keep everything as similar as possible. Too many different nozzles and parts. Bought a couple more 8 GPMs that are in the works.
If you are referring to the banjo y filter, I use 1.5 in for my 8 GPM and 1 in for my 5.5 GPM. You can buy them on Amazon or other suppliers. Make sure they are 80 mesh filters.
Thanks for sharing. I have recently started pressure washing, still new and happen to be in the same area as you. I know it might be a lot to ask but never hurts to try. Would you be willing to do some hands on training? I could really use some knowledge from an experienced pressure washer such as yourself.
Thanks for watching and reaching out. I’d be happy to help out as much as I can. We are doing a lot of employee stuff right now but you can give me a call sometime.
Hi Tim, The setup looks nice clean and simple. It's also keeps equipment more secure when the truck is parked. Are you concerned about corrosion or fumes from SH inside an enclosed van? SH makes everything rust and leaks are inevitable.
The transit connect has vinyl flooring and drains well. I know this because I blew my bypass hose off and water went everywhere. I only carry around 5 gallons of bleach in a sealed container. This is a employee and backup rig. Our main rig is a flatbed and that one carries most of the Chems on it.
Hi Tim, good morning from Boston. this is a very nice and and neat set up. I am super new to this field but been learning a lot from people like you and hope to start my own business next year. I notice this set up has only one tank. Is this tank for your mix? When do we need a buffer tank and what is buffer tank for? Please any thoughts help a lot bro.
hey so im looking at putting my washer in the van exactly like you have ..... question is how are you bolting the pressure washer skid to the wood with the rubber feet
Professional work I love it 👌🏼 I'm looking forward to this business and very excited, but I'm afraid I don't see much of this business in Arizona, what do you think?😊
It’s been a long time since that build and supplies have skyrocketed. Something like that now with aluminum instead of wood is 15-20k. We do custom builds in the Portland, OR area.
Can you list all this in the description or comment on my comment telling me everything I will need for a similar setup I plan on getting the transit soon I have some pressure washing equipment already Thanks

Thank you thank you! It’s been a crazy busy season.
nice and clean. I love it Tim
Thank you!
Cool! Nice mate. As a vehicle graphics printer / wrapper here in the UK, your van looks so smart.
Thank you! Appreciate your compliments
Thank you for sharing another great video. I always love your content. 👍🏾
Thank you!
Clean looking user friendly setup there. 👍
Thank you
I like your set up!!!!
Thank you!
Very nice set up.
Thank you
Great Setup! I'm getting started and want a van. I wasn't to sure how to setup. Thank you!
Glad it helped. We enjoyed this setup a lot.
Great video. I'm thinking of doing the same with a Honda Odyssey. More space to work with 😀
It would probably work decently
Looking at making the same rig! How you like it? I want something small for the streets of SoCal. I run a pool service company too and have SH all the time and can get it in 15gal carboys
It works really well. Perfect small setup.
Good setup. What’s the support you have for the gas pressure washer? That metal from where you get it?
If we are referring to the base. We have them custom built now

Runs perfectly. You just lose a little pressure. Instead of it producing 4000, it produces 3000 which is plenty. GPM is more important.
Have you ever had trouble with the gear drive pulling water? Also have you felt the van was to small for pressure washing?
No issues with gear drives. We are using truck skids now
Love it Bro! I am looking for something like this in the future.
Thank you! I’ve since decided to keep everything as similar as possible. Too many different nozzles and parts. Bought a couple more 8 GPMs that are in the works.
Cool little setup! I'm building a gear drive pressure washer also. Going to pick up the new Gx390 for it today actually haha
Good luck. They work well.
@@ExpertPowerWash gear drive build is going great! How's this van build holding up for you?
It’s going great. We went with bigger machines. The van is just an estimator and window cleaning van.
How do you prime the pump, does it have suction like the belt drive pumps?
Yes the gear drives work just like the belt drives with a small footprint. It pulls water.
Hi Tim,
We’re did you purchase the filter for you water tank ? Also is that an 1 inch or 2?

@@ExpertPowerWash Yeah for sure. Do you have a good number for me to reach you?
Contact our office and they can schedule a time.

What do u like more flat bed or the van
Definitely the flatbed. The van was a temp set up. It did work well.
I have the same ford transit. How big of a water tank you think I could fit in the Transit?
I’m using a 35 gallon leg tank. It works perfect for the 5.5 gallon machine.
Buffer tank. Anything over 4 GPM. This was a simple Wash setup. All our other rigs have multiple tanks.
Maybe a dumb question, but im new to this, why do you need 2 hoses?
And what are the dimentions
on them if i may ask?
I have several hoses. Which two are you referring to?
Tim,
Nice set up, are you coming to Atlanta for the Huge Convention in August..?
I’ll be there👍
Quick question, how did you secure the 4 x 4's to the floorboard?
Cut to fit perfectly. Not secured to the floor.
What’s the point of the tank pick up filters? New tanks chemicals only shouldn’t have any use for a filter
It’s always possible to get foreign material in your liquid. What if the chem supplier got something in the bleach or the same with soap.
Isn’t that dangerous with the chlorine and gas in car as far as breathing in fumes go? Also chance of fire if your in an accident
Great points. We didn’t leave chlorine in the van. This set up is an older build. The van is just a window cleaning van now. That skid was sold.
Hi, how noisy is that Honda engine when placed inside the van?
Not bad at all. Maybe a tad bit quieter with the gear drive pump.
@@ExpertPowerWash good to know thanks for your reply man 🤞
hey so im looking at putting my washer in the van exactly like you have ..... question is how are you bolting the pressure washer skid to the wood with the rubber feet
i se there just straight through screws throgh the rubber feet
Take the rubber foot bolts out and buy bigger ones that will go through the wood. 5/16 or 3/8. Use lock nuts and stainless. Hope that helps.
Professional work I love it 👌🏼
I'm looking forward to this business and very excited, but I'm afraid I don't see much of this business in Arizona, what do you think?😊
I don’t know much about Arizona but I imagine everywhere has something dirty to clean.
Please where did you make your t-shirt in the name of your company i'm trying to find the same model i can't find. Thanks!
Fin-Print. They are the best when it comes to pressure washing shirts.
Total Cost build out ?
It’s been a long time since that build and supplies have skyrocketed. Something like that now with aluminum instead of wood is 15-20k. We do custom builds in the Portland, OR area.

Thanks for watching. Most of what I’m using should be covered in the video.
Hi Tim,
You mention you it's a 5.5 gpm but what's the psi on the pressure washer?
Rated at 3000 PSI
@@ExpertPowerWash
Sounds good, thanks
How is the AR pump made in China? I thought they're made in Italy?
It’s cheaper I guess. I’m sticking with General pumps going forward. No issues with this one just like General Pump.
call of duty music in the background lol
Lol👍
Nice set up! Do you offer interior/exterior window cleaning? Or just exterior?
Both. Thank you so much.
I noticed you used pipe dope instead of tape….😎
Yes
