I have almost every skill that you have, I cant seem to fit in element exploit 3 but i average like 70 -100 dmg per pierce, How did you get such big numbers. coalescence 1 and no element exploit, could that be the reason?
This build is insane. I've been running pierce 3 HBG and thought that did a lot of damage, but the numbers that this build can pull are mind blowing. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Unfortunately, it’s not. You’ll have to compromise a lot of the skills to fit in the guard skills. I haven’t tried but I’m sure you could work around the build if you have the right charms/talismans. Once you unlock embolden decorations in future updates, it should be more manageable.
I can't safely answer this since I don't have one. But if you plan to use Pierce 3, the Chaotic Gore HBG is great! You can still kinda use this set but take out all the element stuff and you may need some affinity from critical eye and max might. And you'll also need to add crit boost. I'll see if I can make one soon but it will take a while since grinding in this update is real. Cheers!

That's a good question! I haven't reached there yet but it looks like we shouldn't have as much problem (For Solo) since our weapon and armor scale up to handle the monsters. So by the time we reach anomaly 200 we should be able to augment up to attack boost level 4 making us sufficiently stronger. Then things factor in like spare shot procs, palamute setup, followers (if you use them), and positioning. Regardless, even if you go to camp, you will still be faster in running than any other weapon in the game.
Amazing build! Any suggestions for replacing the dereliction parts? I don't like running it for multi-player since the hunt is not as controlled and it might cost the team a cart.
I'll have to get back to you on that since I don't really use it without dereliction, but quickly looking at arms and leg pieces, you can maybe use the flaming espinas pieces so you have 2 levels of intepid heart. But you have over spare shot on the set. Another replacement for the arm you could use is onmyou tekkou for embolden and agitator.
It's from the Bloodblight. When you get hit by Anomaly, you get the blight. Since HBG shoots do fast, you practically heal instantly. Hope this clarifies things.
@@jrjsiaron32 ahh so it isn’t an armor skill? How do you manage to keep hp and dps up when doing later tier fights? I run something similar and it seems like I’m constantly having to stop fighting to heal from the hp drain I have.
@@twistedtbow7758 it really takes practice, most anomaly hunts shouldn't be a problem, just tackle one dangerous attacks and keep shooting. Risen in the hand are much trickier since they don't give blood blight, so it's more on relying on Blood Rite skill and full heal from the Bloodlust. Knowing when to flash bomb on them is also very important so you can keep the pressure. Personally speaking I also have problems with Risen because of that issue, in that case I choose the elders that are weaker to elements like Risen Chameleos so I can assure that I know they stagger and fall over often.
@@twistedtbow7758 I didn't mean it to sound like that but it kinda does mean that. But using resources helps like the Spiders and Beatles help out. Every free monster trip really helps :)

@@kegen121 yes, blood Rite would be good. If it fits based on your talisman and your augments then it's nice to have. Tackle is good to counter certain attacks so it's a good means to heal outside of anomaly hunts.

What a lie on average it does 100 dmg to a monster with elemental weak zone and on top of that u can only carry 60 rounds so 6'000 damage per camp run its nothing but weak pierce 3 still does more dmg and more consistant
Hi there. Sorry you think that. Though I think you have to review your math. That 100 damage should be multiplied by 7 (if I remember correctly) if you're hitting the monster optimally because of the pierce ticks. So that's 700 (on average). Then you have a total of 120 rounds (60 from your ammo and 20x3 from crafting using snow herbs). So that's 84,000 potential damage if you're hitting correctly. Even if your anomaly hunt isn't perfect, when you go to camp and back, it will be faster than using a normal pierce 3 ammo. That's also not accounting for spareshot and Setting Sun. I suggest you watch the demo because that's anomaly investigations and how could I possibly finish a hunt with just 6000 damage?

Coalescence is a big deal since it gives both flat element and some raw. Element exploit also does contribute quite a bit of damage.

Is this build is good with a shield? Because im not a pro dodge and im mostly use shield for preventing faint. Any suggestion? Thank you

How are you healing so much?
Hi there Terruse! This can only be done with Anomaly Monsters, I'm healing because of the Blood Blight, which comes from anomaly monsters attacks.

It's optional but I don't recommend it because dodge rolls of HBG is quite sluggish. Tackle is life!

What do you do for dragon?
Hi there, normally we go for the second elemental weakness. For instance, thunder for final boss and rathalos, fire for Malzeno, and so on.
