The Signature bridge was proposed in 1998 & was completed in 2018. That means 20 years for completion of this small bridge. My God! This example proves why India is far far behind than China & far behind than developed countries and even behind than countries like Vietnam, Thailand & Bangladedh.

The idea of having a viewing box reached by a lift was actually by the Delhi AamAadmiParty(AAP) government; this is what makes this bridge very unique. The entire Signature bridge project was stuck due to some technical difficulties. Thanks to the Delhi AAP government that they were able to get this resolved and complete the construction.

Still, the bridge looks ugly. Design is pale and also, its maintenance. Already, mud started accumulating on the sides of the road on bridge. And also, the aesthetics are not at all taken into consideration.

All the new roads and bridges are good but the biggest problem is how horribly people drive...no one sticks to their lanes..anyhow they drive...and the constant honking...so annoying and frustrating...I live in the US ...been 25 years now and driving out here is so easy and peaceful because everyone follows the rules
