That umpire shouldn't be working games in the tournaments. He misses too much. Also, Craig Snider is the man. Wait until you see the texas a&m hitters!
That home plate umpire is AWFUL! He was the HP ump for the FSU vs USF game, and his strike zone was virtually nonexistent. Our poor girls threw it over the plate and FSU got 4 home runs in a row because of that. He was clearly being paid by FSU. I have never seen a more blatantly rigged softball game than that one.
At 5:24 head coach brings the "Hand Protector" to #10CaliHarrod which is first seen when she runs to 2nd base at 6:50. This is especially worn by players who can slide headfirst when stealing bases or going for an aggressive run to home plate. After injury or hand surgery the surgeon will advise a player to wear one or give up the sport to avert disability! Most of these devices are slip-on or slide-on with rigid material inside for strength.
