    I am building my Ant PCB now and hope to start making my first PCBs with it soon. Making double-sided PCBs was one of open questions for me. Thank you for your work!

    Thank you very much my sir
    Sory sir
    When convert gerber to g code by Flatcam software
    I must convert only Top layer or bottom layer or
    both layers

    Thank you very much for the video. Helped me getting started with Flatcam. What I am wondering though is why you are mirroring the profile. It should not matter, should it?

      Hi, in the particular case where the profile is symmetric around the mirroring axis it should not matter, but in general that is not always the case, and in general it's a good habit, so that when you need it you would not forget it.

    Hi I build the ANT but still troubling with some errors and the machine stalls rock steady. But I thing I will find the problem and mill some day.
    The thing I want to ask is this:
    Are any templates for specifications that are the best to follow when we make PCB that want to be milled single or double sided?
    that is distance between tracks, track width, pad diameter, via diameter and drill, and so on. I use KiCAD but I can input the specs file fro Eagle.
    Thanks a lot.
    regards

      Hi Vasilis, if you want, feel free to send us a mail with details about your issues, and we'll try to help you.
      To answer your questions: -minimal distance between tracks 0.2 mm;
      - minimal track width 0.2 mm (also less when your machine is perfectly calibrated);
      - minimal via drill diameter 0.4 mm;
      - minimal via diameter depends on the quality of the board used, in particular on the quality of the epoxy glue between the copper and the substrate.
      - about the pads, the smallest we milled were the pads of an uqfn48 package.
      With a precise alignment, you may be able to use what we said here above also for a double sided PCB.
      We did it for the Arcobaleno board, take a look at the video, if you missed it.
      We hope we answered your questions.
      Cheers,
      The Ant Team.

    What and from where we have the profile gerber files?

      The profile is a layer with the contours of the pcb board you design with the CAD sw you prefer
