He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of, was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in lava. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself. p.s: great series
G, a little help for you, if you save your gold apples for when you see someone you'll make the most of it. You kinda got lucky when bdubs got there. If you save the gapples for the fights you'll get the absorption hearts
