You know how frustrated it feels when you have momentum with the ball running, dribbling while your eyes looking around seeing your teammates standing like a statue. To bring out his full potential build the right players around him, who are aggressive, relentless, witty and intelligent with positioning. Hopefully, by having Jesus next season we will be watching Sanchez and Ozil's comparable partnership.
If you remember, Salah and De Bruyne were called flops once before becoming one of the world's best.

I think he has found his home, as long as he gets the minutes he is going to get stronger so he will be more goal hungry as his game is already at a high level his potential is great.
But he wasn't a flop at mancity signed for 25m and scored 95goals 46assists in 236games just at city forward are rotated oftenly
i hope so next season is bright for arsenal
Manchester fan here, my dads an Arsenal fan since he was young and we’re from Norway.. honestly have enjoyed Arsenal’s games a lot more than United this season.

While ode was The Brain last season, unfortunately, our Strikers were the Pinky. Hopefully, we get a wordy striker next season that will do justice to those passes.

I might be a bit biased on this as a Norwegian, but as I see it. The one wrong move he did was to move to a big club like RM as the young kid he was (understandably tempting). Only getting a few min in a few games. When he was on loan he got very good. And now keep getting better the more he play. I hope during next season he will become even more of a playmaker. He is already very good, and have an amazing view on where team mates are. I'm hoping Arteta can get the most out of the young gems that are in Arsenal now. And most important... Keep them :)

to play the arsenal way, the pitch always needs at least one player who has ultra refined technique. we had Dennis, then Cesc, then Wilshere, then Santi. Not had anyone like that for a good few years now but Odegaard is definitely ready. He was almost there last season, and hopefully this time round he will basically be the one people look to to progress the ball, as they are confident he will make the right pass.
I'm shocked how few assists he actually has, hopefully with a proper striker next season that will bump up
He creates to many chances and 99% of the time his teammates miss them.
Just needs a proper striker in front of him… I hope he doesn’t end up like Ozil being brilliant but doesn’t have someone to finish the chances he creates..

If he becomes more of a goal scorer by improving on his finishing, then he will easily be one of the best midfielders in the world. He's already got the playmaking abilities.

From first game I saw him play I thought he had world class quality and he works hard. Think he has toughened up in challenge this season. Fan boy as I am. When I saw him in tunnel at Newcastle I knew top 4 was over. Team looked scared. I think he us future captain but Xhaka should have been leading us out for that game and someone needed to change tone on pitch.
Hopefully chance will come again and he is ready and that he will double his goals and assists and telling passes. He is pure "arsenal " in the way he plays. Joy to watch.

He used to dribble A LOT, but after his knee injury with Sociedad in 19/20, he lost that speed he needed to do so

The beauty about this guy is, when he beats one player he releases the ball, never tries to overdo it unless the situation demands it
His absolutely class and upgrade on ozil imo much better dribbler and his ball retention is unreal. He remains me of D.Silva

Ødegaard is to me, the kind of player where I only need to see him move/dribble the ball for 2 seconds to realize that he's something special.
Just needs to get abit stronger... Will finally have a competent CF infront of him to play with now, also new CM (love Xhaka but we need abit more going forward). So he will undoubtedly be much better next season
When given time and space he’s brilliant - he body swerves, vision and passing is elite imo his ball control too is awesome…that being said he does go missing in the big games and suffers from not being able to handle the press all that well, but that’s something arsenal as a team need to work on overall
Still for the money we paid he’s a steal. Let’s see how he builds going into next season
He does not go missing in big games anymore than any other Arsenal player, and one of his main strengths is literally being able to handle the press

The good thing is, although he was very technical, he's not that type of player who do too much show off and overcomplicate things, making harder for his teammates and makes the game become too slow. He's makes his move when it needed, and just go pass accurately to upfront teammates to destroy the defense line quickly.
Odegaard has eyes at the back of his head, great vision, speed, and flair. Arsenal will be a threat in a few years. Can't wait for the next season

Same critics who bring up Odegaard doesn't score enough goals & therefore not good enough. Those are the same ones praising Modric.
Modric had 13 PL goals in his entire career in PL. He was an elite playmaker who dictated play like Odegaard.
Odegaard this season created 4th most chances in PL, 2nd most chances created from open play in the entire PL.
An Elite playmaker who lacked a striker upfront who stayed in the box.
Lacazette would lose his individual duels up top, resulting to wasted chances or lack of danger.
Laca would also constantly drop deep occupying same spaces Odegaard operates in & he would leave the opposition box empty, ruining an potential chances or assist Odegaard could have got.
Lacazette became to easy to play against for PL defenders.
A better striker creates danger, score half chances & is there to finish the play.
Odegaard with better striker could have been number 1 in PL for chances created. In 2022 he was no.1 in PL for chances created.
So when he kicks the ball and it goes in the net (oh and his rare header) are they not goals? Sober up before it's too late. More goals next season for sure. Maybe you will catch one 😉

is my opinion if Arteta could give Rowe 90' playtime in our final 3 games we would be in the champions league next season.
He was off form in those games
He is not fully recovered from covid. ESR has bad habits before he took Arteta's advice and changed his lifestyle that's when you saw him perform well but when he got Covid he struggled again. He told this in one of his interviews.

Odergard is a real maestro
his weakness is losing the ball easily when the is under pressure.
that is why he doesn't perform well against the teams who play pressure ball like; Liverpool, Tottenham, and city.
Tottenham probably press the least out of everyone in the prem- would say he is actually great under pressure and in tight spaces. He struggles more against a more physical midfield tho… e.g. Newcastle and Liverpool
He did perform well against those teams at home
Except he played well against City and should've had a penalty was VAR doing its job.
He is one of the top performer against City. Although it's true he doesn't like physical challenges and do lose the ball but he will adapt more next season.
He is fantastic in tight spaces but isn't so physical. He an be important part of beating pressure needs people moving to give him quick passing options. He isn't Gerrard or Maradona who can pick a game up by scruff of neck when it's physical but he goes missing on the whole when the whole team is off it.
