  • I have always loved the look of etched tumblers but never wanted to buy a sand blaster or other etching machine - where would I store them?? So when I learned about using CitriStrip stripping gel I HAD to give it a try. Now that I have, everyone will be getting tumblers for the holidays. :)

    I’ve only had mine sit for 30 minutes and it is enough.

      I’ve tried several brands and each has been different. Glad you figured out what worked for you!

    I was wondering if it will hurt my sink when I rinse it I have a cast-iron porcelain coated sink?

      I’m not sure - I would wipe off as much as possible with paper towels and to be extra safe maybe rinse it in a dish pan and not right in the sink? Better safe than sorry (I’m not an expert on the sink or how the product might affect it - you could reach out to the manufacturers as well)

    Can you etch on a Yukon Outfitter tumbler with a raised pattern?

    • @ArtistTaraReed
      @ArtistTaraReed  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried that but I think it would be hard to get the vinyl really secured to a raised pattern so that the CitriStrip wouldn't bleed outside of where you want it
