As a Thai person, you've been been killing it with your pronunciation lately. Your tones are on point now. In the past, there might have been one or two times per video where I had to relisten to what you said, but now everything is clear as day. Super impressed!
Hey paddy I'm currently in Chiang Mai. I've been to the railway and the cemetery at least three times over the last few years. As an Australian its a very sombre and reflective experience. I'm back to HH in a weeks time for a month.
When we lived in BKK back in the 70's my riding club had a camp up in Kanchanaburi. When we went out with our horses we played Burmees and Border Patrol! I love Thailand. We would also take the USO bus up here and do the tour of the cemetery and take a boat ride to see the caves and temples. My brother walked across the bridge almost up to the guard on the other side but back then we were not allowed in Burma/Myanmar.
Simply wonderful and amazing 🤩 you are such a good sport and relate everything in a fun yet respectful way. I envy you for the แกงป่า. It looked so perfect and delicious. My body’s reaction to eating this, whether in a restaurant or prepared at home, is the same as yours. However I take it as a benchmark for an authentic and delicious แกงป่า ❤ Looking forward to watching your next videos.
great stuff Paddy, thanks so much. I arrive in Kanchanaburi in 5 weeks so this vlog series is awesome info for me. So many great things to see and experience. Not sure I'll be in Thailands MOST LUXURIOUS Hotel....maybe I'll be in a hotel with dry dunny paper ;) I'm definitely down for the food....spicy is good..... P̄hĕd māk is even better. I might even pack my blow up croc....cos who doesnt like meeting a croc when you're swimming :) Congrats on the trip, and thanks to the Thai Tourism people...great content
Thanks Paddy. I've been to Thailand twice this year, and am headed back Sept-Oct. I do plan to hit up Kanchanaburi from Bangkok (I spent most of my time in Jomtien looking for apartments, and in Hua Hin and Pattaya). One reason is due to a book I hope to write (it would be my fifth)
I was in Thailand last April for one month and I will be headed back for another month in November! Eventually, I will be retiring in Thailand in about 2 years from now.
ไป helfire passs แล้วก็ยาวไป pilok and somsak mine at etong village, thong pa phume national park สิครับ … try auntie Glen’s house cookie and stay overnight. The small village is very nice community in the mist. … take the view of tha-mya mountain border. 👍
I am jealous 😂, just 2 week back from kanchanaburi family visit. Mis it already, count down already for next year. Dheva is one of the most beautiful resort i have seen :)
Next time if you get back there ...try Sup activities....was my favorite experience and first time ever there. We did it at Chaing Rai too but I have to say the view along the river in Kachanaburi Is better and less scary then change rai .make u feel like back in old century (hehe if u like old Thai drama like Kasalong: Actor :YaYa Twin).Even though I can't swim haha that was fun .Thanks to my boyfriend for such an amazing experience. We did about 1 hour 30 minutes or 2 hours so .(it was fun, adventurous, exciting, relaxing view)omo I want to go back there again already lol.
i dont know if you have done it yet, but i have an idea for a video: best job opportunities after becoming fluent in thai(within thailand and abroad) maybe its self explanatory, maybe its only translation jobs but this kind of video could not only serve as information but also motivation:)
Great video that is a part of Thailand I have not traveled to yet. Quick question, what is best way for a total newbie to start learning Thai language both in written form and verbal? Besides studying the alphabet letter by letter, what is best next step? Get a tutor?
Usually I can eat spicy but this is very hard 😂😂😂😂 I hear you brother, I hear you, if a Thai person is saying it is spicy, I order it less spicy by a request. I have no issue with the spice but man some people there living with spiciest chillies on the earth
But why is everyone except the tour guide wearing their lifejackets upside down? 😂 แต่ทำไมทุกคนยกเว้นผู้นำทัวร์ถือเสื้อชูชีพของพวกเขาหัวลงลงเป็นด้านบน? 😂

Nice Paddy! You're helping me learn Thai! Got a long way to go!
Chok dee na khrup!

Thanks so much for watching Glenn! Glad it can be of use 👌
Hellfire pass on Anzac day is a amazing experience for a Australian as well
Thanks Paddy.. plz make more videos like these.. so that lazy travelers like me, don't keep going to the same tourist haunts
I think you only need to order and eat Jungle curry once 😂 it's definitely something I won't forget!
I hope to visit Kanchanaburi soon.
Kanchanaburi looks very interesting Paddy.
You make TH-cam entertaining and funny and as usual we send our love.❣
Have a wonderful trip!
Such a great place! Thanks a heap for watching (as always!) 🙏
Amazing work mate. The resort hotel looks awesome. What a thrill to float down the river too. How were the mosquitos there?
Didn’t really notice them to be honest! Thanks a lot for watching

Teacher or tutor is definitely the next best step!
Thank you oh wise one! @@ThaiTalkwithPaddy
Pocket Thai Master app is the best starting point imo

is that your chest hair or are you wearing a rug?
