      @brittanyosorio5246 ปีที่แล้ว +291

      Agreed and he was justified in his anger. He spent the better part of his life being treated like a step son instead of an actual son. I get that the dad wanted to make up for his nephew not having his parents around but he didn’t have to alienate his own son to do it

    • @TalkinnGrubbinMedia

      @@brittanyosorio5246 Plus, he also constantly went hard in the paint on Roscoe when he did wrong but gave Clyde a pass when he did wrong. That's not fair either; you're so suppose to discipline your kids the same when they mess up whether their yours or not.

    Jokes aside Roscoe had every right to be angry at his father because he showed him no respect, gave him no credit, he always favored Clyde and on top of the fact he was never happy about what Roscoe accomplished over the years ever since they been away from each other for so long.

      The sad part about this is that there are parents like that today, favoring one child over others, not giving them credit, or just abusing them. The main character abuse in this movie is so high it's unwatchable for me.

    Watching this years later now I see how unsettling Roscoe family really was. Crazy thing is if Clyde won that dad of his would be smiling ear to ear. Roscoe was completely justified in calling out his dad for treating him the way he did as a kid into adult hood. Even that tv situation his dad pulled was disrespectful.

    • @zoewheeler3927

      Everybody's entitled to their opinion as the saying (which I don't agree with) but black men can't be making statements like that bruh on open forums. Only women say nonsense like that because they are 2 dimensional thinkers and can't see the forest through the trees. Most of this clip was corny and really overly dramatic but it worked. The ending though. The incredible acting really showed. I know how it feels not to fit in and to feel like you’re invisible. Martin Lawrence is a true genius.

    Okay I have to say, I feel like Clyde actually did try to take his place, because you look back at there childhood days, Clyde pretty much stole Lucinda from Roscoe after the race, he sucked up to Roscoe’s dad after the race, and he always tried to act like he was the best. So I kinda have to not believe that because I knew someone who was like that towards me but he was a “friend” and he always had the spotlight. So I kept my distance from him

    First off, Roscoe had every right to stand up to his pops. You already the baby, and then feeling like an outcast in your family hurts.
    Secondly, I loveeeee that it’s nothing but OG Def Comedy Jam alumni in this movie. One thing about Martin, he consistently worked with Def Comedy Jam alumni.
