Parents do need to show love and support to their kids, but I personally never felt the need to impress my parents because I know they love me. They never forced anything on me or put any kind of pressure on me
I actually think Clyde and Roscoe are the type of brothers whose favorite person to fight was the other, the loves there but Roscoe Sr. Poisoned that bond growing up but when Clyde said they were brothers you could tell that all the fight Roscoe had with Clyde just evaporated because the truth is he never blamed Clyde, he blamed his dad's reaction to Clyde which kinda blurred his visions of Clyde over the years
How?! Because Roscoe still had a father...his issue was he thought his father favored Clyde over him. Which drove Roscoe to be a success in the first place...but he still wanted love from his father.
