I love how everyone is so supportive of other sellers! This makes my heart happy. We're all just trying to make it. I am a reseller and I don't care if someone buys my stuff to resell, as long as I'm making something from the sale... They can do whatever they'd like with it. 😊
Yea, I think my 2nd to 3rd favorite part of reselling is that people are so supportive of each other. You have the occasional snatching stuff out of other peoples hands scumbag resellers but thank god they’re not even 1% of resellers.
I wish people in my town were like you guys. It's dog eat dog here. From our goodwills to our flea markets, people here for the most part do not like resellers. On top of that, there is a lot of antagonism among some resellers. Instead of the support we should be giving each other, people are over here cursing, lying, cheating, stealing and, in some cases, even pushing just to get a dollar ahead. It flat out sucks

Absolutely Love the channel, you and Haley are awesome people and what y’all do is so cool and amazing to me. I’m 21 work full time and trying to get through college and bills just keep piling. Decided to download poshmark and attempt to just see what i could get for old clothes of mine from high school. I literally didn’t think it would work, like there’s no way. BUT I already sold now 2 things and made $50 which for me is like Holy crap alot and my first order gave me 5 star rating and told me she liked my note i sent her. ❤️ Thankyou for inspiring me! Yeah too the paste is great. Oxi clean spray is really good too. Dollar Tree sometimes has weird cleaning supplies too that’s similar to oxi clean and that works fantastic as well

Thanks Josh! Who knew my favorite reseller would help me with my houseplants?! I have a large pot of Coleus I grew from seed this summer on my back deck. It's over 3' tall and gorgeous. I've been wondering how to keep it healthy and happy over the winter so I was very interested in the course you took. So I went and signed up. Guess I should name it now that it's survived this long lol! Enjoyed the rest of the video, as always. Listened to one of the Triple Thrift podcasts earlier this evening, that was good too. I'm very excited to start my own reselling journey, grand opening in November. I'm using October to mostly learn and organize, watching lots of videos, but I have started taking pics of my inventory and researching my items. Most of my items are from an inheritance and personal stuff I don't need or want anymore. I'll be able to start with hundreds of items, including a lot of collectibles, at the best time of year. Your videos have been invaluable to me. Thanks again!

You should never feel bad if people find the channel and then you feel like there is an expectation for you to maybe pay more. You are a business man and most importantly you put the graft in and have a good understanding of your market.
I've been re-selling part time since you were likely an infant (eeek yeah I'm old) but I always learn something new from ya'll. I really appreciate you both! @@jshaughn5109 He needs to get a real job that pays less than reselling a $5 item? He can spend 8 hours at a place like this, buy and sell 50 items, and make way more in a day than most jobs. Reselling makes a ton of money and scalping isn't buying an item that's undervalued and selling for the market value. That's just flipping. Scalping is unfairly marking up the price, usually on something hard to get, that puts pressure to buy it way above the value.

The lady who said she is going to watch your utube to see what you get for the items she sold you, was kinda cutely said, as you were leaving her booth!! I would like to see Hailey start negotiating with the sellers, just on easy ones to begin with! She is going to hate me for saying that, but in the long run, she will be happy she can do it as good as you can do it!! I started out with the small items to get where I am convertible negotiating anything now, or other way around, someone trying to negotiate your item of sale down lower than you want to sell it for! You two are a great team and that is surely noticeable on your videos, as well as, reading all the comments from people who feel the same way! Love your videos! at 5:30 there is a dino riders on the table. the green bronto right there in the middle. 1988 or 89 i believe. it looks in great shape too. a lot of those ended up with a broken tail. even without the accessories that would have been a great score i bet i wish i had kept all of mine. i had almost the whole set by the time i was 10. though i did get many months of play time out of mine. sectaurs vs the dino riders. what a time i had with my friends.
Here's a question for you (brought about by the man who mentioned rent for his space): I rarely see the market full of people shopping when you're there, do these sellers actually make enough to cover their costs? Are you just there early and the market gets busy later? Great video once again!
I think he was just using that as an excuse to get an extra buck or so out of me. The Open air tables at this market on Wednesdays are only $7. I think most sellers would easily make their table rent every time. Even the indoor tables are like 15 or so I believe?

I have always been a thrift store shopper, bins shopper etc. However when it comes to garage sales and flea markets, how do you get receipts for proof of purchase showing that you bought it. Stores you get a receipt, garage sales, flea markets you don't. Do you just take not yourself and kind of write your own receipt for that days purchase and store it away or what do you do?

Toothpaste will clean dirt and tarnish from metal and takes stains out of sneaker soles. I use it for everything. Even got stains out of fabric.

The guy you bought the tape rewinder from had a framed print of a man praying over a bowl of soup. If you can reconnect with him and he still has it, I would love to buy that. A copy of that print hung in my Grandparent's kitchen and I would very much like to own one for my home.
If he doesn't have it, can you keep an eye out for another one? Preferably vintage.

Yes! I have the man. My mom always had it hanging in our dining room and hers got burned in a house fire, i was blessed to have an aunt of mine give me hers when she was redecorating. I hope to pass it down to one of my kids
