Life in the desert - very different. Some lovely shots of the baby roos (Did you have any carrots for them ?) and nice to see Archie out and about again. Coober Pedy must be like a Gruyere cheese with all those tunnels going through it. Interesting to see.
Another interesting episode guy’s and good to see Archie getting in on the action. We look forward to seeing your QLD travels and you never know we might bump into each other. We are currently in Cairns and heading up to Cooktown in a few days. Safe travels guys.
@@StaycationOz We are in Cairns until Thursday morning and then heading up further north eventually arriving in Cooktown for a few days then back to Cairns before then heading west 😀
Thank you for showing us so much of Coober Pedy. Sad about the weather. As a South Aussie, I can honestly say its been a long cold and wet Winter / Spring this year. You did the right thing heading North again. So happy Archie could join you most places you visited. 🐕❤🇦🇺🦘
Great presentation of Coober Pedy as I did not know there was so much on offer, yet I have travelled past or stopped in many times. It has become a common trend today that as Aussies we still have to pay to enter and see much of our own country, you would think that with the high taxes that we pay (including National Park employees, etc.) we should expect to see all of our country without being taxed again by way of an entrance fees.
Thanks Kadachiman! We are big fans of Coober Pedy now - had a great time there! Know what you mean about entrance fees, but still plenty of free things to do too!! 🤩
Haha yea definitely will have to come back one day!! With all the rain before we arrived, starts to make the unsealed roads muddy with pools of water everywhere, so to protect the road they close it and wait till it dries out a bit. 👍
I enjoyed watching this episode learning about Coober Pedy; however, it would have been SUPER helpful if you had added text at the bottom or something of what location you are visiting when you edit the video.
Hey Theresa. Thanks - great feedback. We did try and remember to put the place name across the bottom of the screen if it was a place that we didn’t verbally introduce in the video, but we probably weren’t consistent enough across the videos!! ☺️
Just a quick question guys , have you changed cameras & film equipment recently? Just been noticing that your footage is a lot more stabilised, great content btw 👍🇦🇺👍
Nah we haven’t changed anything, we’ve just started better using the stabilisation on the Go Pro and trying to do a better job when filming!! Thanks for noticing though 👍
Thanks for another great video..Loved that underground mine tour and that beautiful church..Cheers!!👍🏼🍺🍺
Thanks so much for watching! Coober Pedy was an awesome place to visit!!!
We loved Coober. It’s a very interesting town.
It’s so unique, like no where else in Australia, so glad we went!!

The weather was a little hit and miss, and unfortunately meant we couldn’t do the Oodnadatta, but we still absolutely loved Coober Pedy!!
We stayed at the Comfort Inn 10yrs ago and they said the umbrella catches the falling snakes and lizards lol
Bahaha thank god no snakes or lizards fell in while we were there!! Lovely little hotel though and a great experience!! Thanks for watching!!

How good is Riba’s underground camping? Safe travels.
It’s sooo cool!! We absolutely loved that place!! The mine tour especially was fascinating!!👌👍
Plus you meet some great people there!! 😜
@@StaycationOz 🤣🤣 you sure do
I loved the music playing while you were visiting the churches. Do you have the name of that piece?
Hi Belinda. Yes, it’s lovely isn’t it. It’s called Magic Night by Caleb Etheridge. 🎼🎶🎹😍

Did you try out John’s pizza? They have won Australia’s best pizza a few times now
We did go to Johns pizza and it was great!! Never knew it had won Australia’s best pizza though!!!
But did you try a beef pie from Coober Pedy Foodland supermarket? Gosh they are killer. Someone locally must be making them?
Haha no we didn’t! Had no idea they were any good lol!!
@@StaycationOz either did I until I tried one. Hand made pastry not frozen.
Oh well!!! Maybe next visit haha!!
