Really great video as usual Colin, that site looks superb, I'd like to give that a go this year. I stayed at the Dalesbridge last July in r van after watching ur video, had an epic hike towards Ingleborough and looped back, then sunk a few swills in the bar, met Ross, seemed a top bloke. Threw a few miles in on the bike in the morning to dust the cobwebs off then headed home. So thanks very much for a great recommendation, will b trying others u have been to aswell. Nice one 👍👌
What a really lovely video! Well done. Your joy and enthusiasm comes across so well. So we're glad to hear you've made the decision just to do one per week. You do such a good job but I think you're right about not over doing it, but rather enjoying the channel and your family and photography.
Really great start to the NewYear, Dales and Trails looks superb will be on my list for a visit this year, bought a van in November only had one night away so far . Looking forward to more from you . Cheers
Lovely video, and good to see you back for the New Year. Towards the backend of last year I tried a place called the Quiet Site on the hillside near Ullswater - it was stunning, and you could just walk from there - facilities were like the site you stopped at, on another level. Give it a go - we did it for two nights, and have rebooked for this year. Oh and it has a pub on site serving a local Ullswater Ale which you can use to wash down a woodfired pizza - more reasons to stay.
Brilliant to have you back, looking refreshed and ready for action. Totally makes sense, don’t want you to get overloaded dude, love the new direction !
Brilliant video and definitely going to look at staying at Dales and Trails this year. We have just done the same walk as you, on Wednesday 22 January, gutted we were not there at the same time. One day...😊
Great video Colin you hit the nail on the head as you said " it's about getting people out there " I'm from Staffordshire watching these posts and all I'm thinking is " I need to go there " nice one mate
Great video mate, good to see this campsite getting some more coverage, we stayed last year and they were the most lovely campsite owners ever, even did two trips to pick us up from the pub, and we are booked again for the lambing (which I won’t be going anywhere near) top work 👏👏
Brilliant start to the New Year Mr C - great to have you back! 😁 I’m so glad you’ve found your balance of work/family/blogs and you’re happy with it - when all’s said and done that’s what really counts 👍 Looking forward to your next adventure…
This new video was brilliant Colin. Really looking forward to this years content, from just this video alone I think you’ve smashed it and big things ahead for you. All the best to you and the family 👍
So happy to see your back! There MAY have been a joyous cry of 'Coliiiiin' from myself when the hubby showed me we had a new video from you. I'm dying to get to Malham in our Ford Nugget so I can do a wild swim up there. Though the Dalesbridge IS a favourite stop
Great to see you back. Hope you enjoyed your break and both yourself and the familly had a amazing christmas. Brilliant video, dales and trails looks an awesome place. 👌
Great to see you again. That looks like a really interesting walk although sadly not one I think I am capable of doing these days - especially with the snow and ice. The camp site looks amazing. When you do the camp site tours, would you mind saying how suitable they are for caravans including access. Our outfit is a campervan towing a caravan to accommodate us and the dogs. Thanks. Have a great weekend. ❤️
Great video Colin. Loved the content and interview. What a great campsite and the owners seem lovely. No pressure but Would love it if you organised a meet up and camp out again for us followers.Keep doing what you’re doing but most of all keep enjoying it.
Great to see you back, all be it I kick myself every time I watch one of your videos where you’re out walking as I’m failing miserably getting back into going out more regularly and it’s the second year of new year resolution to do it. Need to buck my ideas up and get out there! Thanks for the inspiration as always! Looks a lovely campsite also! Hope the storm hasn’t caused you any issues today, have a lovely weekend, all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
@LeisureBit hey buddy, HNY to you! Yep, that's the idea, to get people to watch and get using their vans to get out and about... Grab your boots and go for a walk, you'll love it!
Ahh normality has returned to my Friday nights. The site looks so much better than the last vlog, even then it was somewhere I wanted to go. Those showers!, I’d doo in a whole bottle of head and shoulders in there. You’d have to break the door down to get me out. Glad your sticking to the Friday videos, taking too much on with the day to day job would eventually burned you out IMO. Ps, during the interview when you clasped your hands, thought you had 20 fingers. 😅 oh and that new axe has just added £5k to the value of the van. Looks so cool on the wall, like a utility belt.
great video, im intrigued as to where the campsite actually is because google maps shows where it is, but on the aerial you can see any evidence of a campsite
@stephenmitchell4098 I think because its such a new site, Google maps hasn't updated yet. But here is a dropped pin to exactly where it is maps.app.goo.gl/QvDjfr8gcz6LAAJ68
Love the videos been watching for a long time but when you say stuff like the fault line can you put a description of what a fault line is just for lazy people like me 😊👍
Nice video. Hiking and rambling question as it is my plan to use the van for fitness in 2025. If you find your pathway blocked (public pathway), are you allowed to cut your way through, so to speak. Just wondering. Oh, right idea not to over do it. Your content is just right.
@gazgringe2598 hey matey, so if I'm walking down a public footpath (right of way) and it comes to an end, there's no visible track to another Public footpath, ill either a. Ask the owner if its possible (I've knocked on farm house doors before to check) or I'll simply reroute and change my route. Having said that though, as I use OS maps with Outdoor Active so it's pretty much 99% accurate. So in short, I'd not trespass just to get somewhere, unless I had permission :) Take care
@neildixon6134 hey buddy, I'm assuming you mean Gordale Scar Campsite? Having checked online, I think its open from March (closed for winter) - But when I try booking it, if it has closed, I'll let everyone know... Trip advisor has reviews up to May 2024 so it was open then, so my assumption would be that it's just closed for winter. Have a great week
Another great video Colin. (Y)
These are by far the best campervan type videos mate. Bring em on!!!
Great to see you back on TH-cam again. Love watching places and views of ‘home’. Look forward to the year ahead x

Love this video! Well done Col. For sure gonna take the van and the family here this year! :)
Great to have you back Colin. Fully support your decision regarding maintaining the channel and looking forward to following you again this year.

Glad you’re back, I love your campsite tours, especially because I love my fire pit … and because you love what you do, it shines in the vlogs x

@@GedandMichele hey matey, thanks so much... The pan is called SQ Professional and it's from Amazon, although they do have their own website too :)

Still haven’t made it to Malham Cove, looks like I’ve got somewhere to stay when I do.
Great vid Col, by the way which AI software tool are you using to blend the image of the cow and the Van?
@kenjames3506 thanks buddy, i just googled it and the one I used was a random free one, so sadly I couldn't tell you as I don't know myself 🤣🤣!
