That rapid, continuous kind of stroboscopic lighting was observed in my country too just before there was a tornado two years ago, damaging several villages. It was the first tornado in our region as far as all of the historical records show. Cloud seeding and sun covering is going on hard over all large cities here for over a decade. Establishment media also blamed global warming for those severe lightings, thunderstorms and the tornado too.
I'm over 50 years old and don't remember ever seeing so much of that type of lightning, like continually flashing but this past year we've had it 3 different times. The problem across the middle east is that there is not really much in the way of drainage. The 8 years of my time in middle east, the rain water that did dump in the rain season has nowhere to go really. They do have storm drain systems, but the roads have no drains, not like here in uk where we have drain systems on nearly every road and definately every road in a town or city. Honestly, in saudi where i was, any rain at all caused mayhem on roads.
