I always check on your channel for new uploads especially with your Regine reactions. I truly appreciate your genuine appreciation to our queen. Her star may not be as bright as with Mariah, Whitney and Celine but the level of respect you give for her is the same. You being from another country having to discover Regine was fate. I think you would really like her song Linlangin Mo(number 11 in this video), it's on Spotify. It starts very slow and quiet, but gets more intense in the end. Also, If you really like her more subdued performances, listen to her album Low Key. Minimal to zero belting in this album, plus you'd really appreciate her soft feminine riffs and runs in that album.

Yes,You'll Never Walk Alone also hits very differently. I think one factor is because she sang this in The Asia Pacific Singing Contest 1989, together with And I Am Telling You, wherein she won. I think that's one of the reasons. Anyways,thank you so much,not just for reacting to her genuinely,but for loving her so much and giving so much respect to her. Thanks a lot Mathias!

I agree with you on the softer Regine. That’s why my all-time favorite Regine album is LOW KEY. That album showcased Regine’s non-belting vocals. It was the best.

I remember in one of her interviews she says that she loves to sing in a melow or lower tones. Somehow her voice was abused with songs that are deadly high notes. Regine is a legend. ❤️

5:41 yes sir Matthias we agree with You. The best performances of Regine are not so much in belting. Just like "Reasons", the clear B5 note (Her highest chest predominant note so far on TV) was not "too belted" so it sounded so sweet like i was overload with much calories i love haha. But these 30 of her many performances are so galant and im confident we all agree on this hehe.
Sad that when the compilation video was made like 4 yrs ago, the rare and older SOP videos were not included (since most were just uploaded 2018 and more recently).
To continue the trivia SOP has been Her musical variety show with her associate artists 1997-2010, renamed into Party Pilipinas 2010-2013 then reformatted into Sunday AllStars 2013-2015. The show has been the greatest rival of ASAP (where Regine guested there like 1995ish before SOP launched). When Sunday All Stars closed in 2015, She decided not to join the then new show "Sunday PinaSaya" since most of musical artists are not included. Good thing her show "SarapDiVA" continued airing from 2012-2018 and from time to time with GMA She had lots of shows including soap opera Forever In My Heart 2003ish, a korean romcom franchise Ako Si Kim Sam Soon2008, Totoy Bato 2009, played a villain turned friend "Electra" in "Darna 2010", DiVA 2010 then Poor Señorita 2016. She also had her own musical/shows "Songbird" 2008 (aired on thursday nights then moved to saturday nights) and "Full House Tonight" 2017 that were aired on saturday nights (few months before She launched her R3.0 album and staged the 30th anniv concert of the same name). Those years, She also helped launch many artists through the following singing competitions She hosted:

2018 when Regine came back to ABS-CBN ( ASAPnatinTo means This Is Our Allstar Sunday Afternoon Party ) Regine also came back to ViVA Records in 2017.
Some of the greatest highlights were Her Written In The Sand performance at The Peninsula Hotel (aired with GMA and around the world on new years eve 2000) with 2000 children singing with her.
The OneNightWithRegine concert for ABS-CBNs BantayBata in 2002.
All her anniversary concerts, Twenty, Silver, R3.0.
Most of her special concerts and theyre too many to mention including FREEDOM 2021, Retro 1997 and R2K.
Today, with her now 36 years in the industry, Regine still continues to sing to us and collaborate with more talents and artists. As the pandemic ends, a lot of projects will be made. Name it concerts, new albums and all 💖
