If you wont vote either just vote a third party.
Your vote will not go to either like you want, but you'll be giving the 3rd parties a tiny boost to show there's an interest in them. It'll mean a little more than the nothing not voting would do.
Voting isn't a huge effort, it's a right that was fought for, so at least use it rather than give it up.
That's what I did in my country's election, and the divided votes led to a coalition for the first time in our election history.
America is a bit far from that point, but you could be part of the start out of the duopoly.

Watching this from a far, from a third world country, the current political, social and economics situation in the US, not to mention the moral and ethics, is very hard to grasp. Where are the good, honest, American people? People with intellect, impeccable characters and wisdom? In the 80s and 90s, many of my fellow college graduates from my country pursued their graduate degrees in the US universities, which were considered as ultimate academic achievements. We always thought that the US is the country that’s blessed with many of intellects and scholars. Many of whom are Noble Prize winners. What went wrong? Someone kindly explain, please?
It has kind of always been like this. In the 60's JFK and RFK were assassinated. An attempted assassination on Reagan in the 80's. You could argue it was actually worse back then. Nothing to that scale has happened recently. As an American living in Minnesota near Minneapolis where they burned down a police station a few years ago, it depends on where you focus your attention. Minneapolis is recovering. I go there all the time without any fear. My town is doing great. Good jobs here. Even with the inflation, my experience has not changed too much. And I am not rich, right smack in the middle class. Sure, our current dementia patient in the White House, and the fever pitch fear of Trump becoming president again are the main focus- there is nothing in America happening that compares to Israel and Ukraine. Of course, that could change, just like in any country. As for the impeccable characters- don't forget Musk, Bezos and Neil DeGrasse Tyson. And RFK JR is running president! What a comeback for the Kennedy's!

What fascinates me is how this episode reveals the distinction between the formal government and what might be called the 'shadow' government--all the political elites and billionaire party donors who wield de facto power; it all has very little to do with Biden himself, clearly, since at this point, it's all he can do to stay on his feet and form complete sentences.
