  • With less than four months before the US presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris is all but guaranteed, to lead the Democratic ticket.
    She's gaining more public support from top Democrats, but will voters back her in November?
    As a minority woman, supporters are hoping her race and gender, will attract more voters who were disengaged during Biden's campaign.
    But will it be enough?
    And how big of a role will race and gender play in the upcoming elections?
    And how will Trump's team redirect its strategy?
    Presenter: Sami Zeidan
    Guests:
    Rina Shah - Political Strategist and former Republican Presidential Campaign Chief Spokesperson and Senior Advisor.
    Rania Batrice - Democratic Party Strategist and former Deputy Campaign Manager for Senator Bernie Sanders.
    Nadia Brown - Professor of Government at Georgetown University and author of 'Sisters in the Statehouse: Black Women and Legislative Decision Making.'

    All the indicators favor KH, a thumping win.
    It's NOT that they love KH. It's just THAT they hate DT.
    Simple!

    Gender, race and politics are too entrenched with one another in the US. Harris’ biggest battle is one we’ve seen in history play out regarding race and gender. Her resume (outside of being VP) on the other hand, is quite impressive.

    • @theobservationsreal3291
      @theobservationsreal3291 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not the same because not all nations are immigrant cultures, US is unique in this regard and even other colony born countries didn't open for mass immigration they had tightly controlled immigration whereas US didn't, it worked to their advantage and led them to where they are today becoming a sole superpower for 25 years and while not the sole superpower now they're still number 1 for the moment, the truth is they need immigration now more than ever in order to compete with a growing China who has a population greater than the US but not the wealth with that growing every year and the gap closing.

    This lady needs to be qualified to represent the people and the country. We Americans are experiencing severe economic and social issues that should no longer be neglected. Washington is currently full of incompetent politicians. Unfortunately, their greed takes away the purpose of civil service. With all due respect to AI Jazeera, you bring these commentators to your panel who sound utterly ignorant or perhaps refuse to admit the reality that the US is near the end but rather waste time talking nonsense and promoting false narratives to the people.
